Universities in China are using Genshin Impact to attract new students

Mobile games helping universities promote themselves more effectively!

Chinese Universities have started offering courses related to these famous games or using them as means of promotion to attract more students. According to Youxiputao, recently the Xiamen University in China launched a new university course through which students can learn more about the game, Minecraft. And now several other universities in China have started sending out invites across the internet to students in form of advertisements using the popular Genshin Impact character, Klee.

Genshin Impact is an open-world action game developed by miHoYo where players can switch between four interchangeable characters in a party which can be done quickly during combats making the players capable of using different combinations of attacks and skills. Mobile games have a huge impact on the youth of the world in this era and world-famous games like Genshin Impact, Minecraft, Clash of Clans and many more certainly lead the list.

Klee has become the Director of Admissions for several universities in China

Several universities in China like  Sun Yat-sen University, Tianjin University, Shanghai University, and many more have started using the Genshin Impact character in their admission campaigns to attract more students. It has become a popular way for attracting the crowd for people people who manage the social media handles of the universities.

At first, it was started because it was creative and entertaining but once all the other universities that how useful it was, it didn’t take much time before all the official accounts of the universities started using Klee to showcase their campus and achievements.

The great influence of mobile games on the young generation

Genshin Impact has a young player group and a huge number of them are college-going students that’s why by using this marketing technique, recognition and guaranteed to a certain extent, and some of the university sites and social media platforms are handled by their students themselves and they know the best about what is famous among their peers.

This is proof of how much of an impact mobile games have made on people it’s just not used as a pastime anymore, but they are actually capable of providing careers or even promotions among the young target audience.
