Bigetron Esports has disbanded its Wild Rift division ‘Bigetron Infinity’

Two consecutive disbandments in Wild Rift pro scene!

Bigetron Esports has disbanded their League of Legends: Wild Rift roster, division Bigetron Infinity today. The team was formed about nine months ago. The relationship came to an end after the official confirmation from a tweet posted by Bigetron Esports. This news has raised question marks over the future of the Wild Rift professional scene as it marks the second disbandment in a week. ONIC Esports had earlier also stated the announcement of the breakup of its Wild Rift division.

A successful journey lived a short life!

Bigetron is undoubtedly the leading organization in Southeast Asia with over 150 national championships and a world championship in its pocket. They have declared their Wild Rift roster ‘Bigetron Infinity’ on the 22nd of November, 2020. It was comprised of ex-League of Legends players who had competed in the Garuda Series. The other players are Falp1 (Mohammad Fajri), Control (Steven Verdianta), Henry (Henry Nathaniel), Nuts (Rully Sutanto), Dewa (Dewa Fabian), and Harry (Harry Rainier). The team was getting decent success in the Indonesian Esports arena. The team had secured first place during the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021: Preseason Indonesia.

Wild Rift in Indonesia: Is the community losing its balance

Fans suspect that the decisions taken by some Esports organizations recently will have a deleterious effect on the community. It might damage the entire Wild Rift scene in Indonesia because the teams have not even cleared anything about these disbandments. Not only Bigetron, but also ONIC Esports has provided no reasons related to the disbandment. Both of the teams have just thanked their roster for their dedicated play and fighting in the pro scene so far.

However, it is still unknown that what will be the fate of the two terms. These two fairly successful teams have already secured slots in the SEA Icon Series ID Fall Season. Apart from these two teams, there is one more team of which has parted away from its entire roster. The Twitter account of Monochrome Esports has announced that they have officially disbanded their roster belonging to the Wild Rift division. So, an unpleasant situation is going on in the Indonesian Esports scenario.
