Supercell might finally be getting ready to properly unveil the long-discussed mo.co’s “neo” version, as a new teaser strongly hints toward May 19, 2026, being an important date for the game. The developers recently shared a new image on social media alongside the caption, “we’re back in business…” and what could it be? Guesses? I have one.
Right at the bottom edge of the train art, there is a text “mo.co comms 19.05.2026” that can be spotted. Automatically, we get to the speculation that something major related to the neo update could happen on that date.
The neo mo.co revamp was earlier confirmed for Summer 2026
Back in April, we had already confirmation that the massive “neo mo.co” revamp was targeted for Summer 2026 as revealed by Community Manager João Freitas. He had also mentioned plenty of changes coming, so there is a lot of excitement going into it.
The original version struggled because players lacked long-term goals. Because of this, the old build system is also being removed entirely. Instead, weapons will now come with their own unique abilities and playstyles, while new systems like Weapon Mastery and Upgrade Cores will be part of it.
Of course, there’s still a possibility that the date only points toward an announcement, developer communication, or reveal event instead of the actual update release itself. But considering how quiet things have been around mo.co recently, I think it will be for the update itself.
Now, with the latest teaser quietly pointing toward May 19, it seems the wait for proper news may finally be coming to an end. We still have a couple of days to go at the time of writing to know what is in store for us on that day, so better to do the guessing game now and go “told ya!” when the update comes.
