Popular esports organization Blacklist International bids farewell from the premise of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) MPL PH. The team sold its slot to another franchise and will not be able to compete in the upcoming league. The new franchise that undertook the slot has not been revealed yet.
Blacklist International was formed in 2020 and became the World Champion in M3 World Championship. The team has since had several notable achievements in MLBB esports.
M3 Champion closes five-year journey, leaving a trail of success
Blacklist International is a popular esports team in MLBB esports. The Team entered the MLBB esports scene in 2020 and just after a year, it was crowned the champions of the M3 World Championship. It also became the runner-up in MSC 2021.
The codebreakers have undergone several thrilling journeys, from becoming the first champions in the inaugural franchise league season to winning back-to-back MPL trophies. It has three MPL PH trophies in the bag which the team won in Season 7, Season 8, and Season 10.

Though the team has a glorious past, the current performance of the team shows otherwise. It failed to qualify for the recently concluded M6 World Championship. The team was preparing for the upcoming MPL PH Season 15.
The Team’s Ownership will be transferred to a new franchise
Blacklist International runs under Tier One Entertainment which oversees the actions and made decisions. According to the owners, the team was presented with a business opportunity that made the owners rethink their motive to go beyond Esports. Thus, the “tough decision” came from the team, leaving thousands of fans in surprise and heartbreak.
As the decision seems to be based on monetary issues entirely, the recent performance may be one of the other reasons behind taking the prompt decision. But whatever the case is, fans will miss their favorite team in the upcoming events.
