Clash of Clans popular tournament Clash of Clans World Championship (COCWC) has made its way for yet another season this 2023 year. Popular among the Clashers for its competitive structure, the new season will return after a successful 2022 season.
With a massive prize pool of $1,150,000 along with a new Town Hall level, the expectations for Supercell’s tournament are sky-high. So in this article, we shall give the details about the upcoming Clash of Clans World Championship 2023.
Clash of Clans World Championship 2023: Qualification and Format
The Clash of Clans World Championship will be following the same format as last year’s edition. Eight teams will battle it out for the championship, where it is divided into four teams each for the qualification process.
Four teams will make it to the World Finals with the winning of a Golden Ticket, a ticket to book their berth in the finals, in a community-organized tournament. The next four will be decided through the official Championship qualifier tournament. We shall be providing details of both the Golden Ticket and Championship qualifications.
Golden Ticket Tournaments
These are the tournaments that are community organized, that is Clash of Clans will request the four communities in total to be the organizers in different regions and timespan for qualification. For the 2023 year, Clash of Clans is teaming up with Queso, RUSH.GG and Clash MSTRS as the official Golden Ticket organizers.
As for the fourth organizer, the team has invited China back to the Championship battle. So the fourth Golden Ticket organizer will be Chinese. However, it will be a local tournament only for the Chinese Clash of Clans players. The schedule for the Golden Ticket Tournaments is as follows.

Winners from these tournaments will be joining the World Finals event. Also, there will be a certain prize amount reward for the winners of the tournament, which is yet to be announced. Players should start gathering their five-side team to take part in this tournament so that they can eye the World Finals!
Championship Qualifiers
Securing the next and last four spots in the Clash of Clans World Championship 2023 is decided by the Championship Qualifiers. Kicking off in September, the participants need to have a team of 5 players at max Town Hall level.
Ending in October, the top four teams standing after 6 weeks of high-level competition, will be getting their golden tickets and will qualify for the World Finals. The games will be played in the Clash of Clans Tournament Hub. The dates of the matches will be announced later.
Clash of Clans World Championship 2023 World Finals and Prize Pool
Once we get the top 8 teams from the Community Events and Championship Qualifiers, we will see them in the World Finals of the Clash of Clans World Championship 2023. In the three-day event starting from the 24th of November to the 26th of the same month, the teams will battle it out to get the bigger share from a grand prize pool of $1,150,000.

8 teams will fight to become the best Clash of Clans esports team of the year. The participants were chosen from several events that took place throughout the entire year. The list of contenders is as follows.

However, the breakdown of the prize pool is not known yet. Once we get to see the start of the community tournaments, we shall get the teams for the World Finals one by one. With the competitive structure of the tournament, it is no doubt to see some exciting battles this year again. All the matches of Clash of Clans World Championship 2023 Grand Finals will be live-streamed on the official YouTube and Twitch channels of Clash of Clans Esports.
