Marvel Snap July 2026 Spotlight Cache Version Update: Details about the Upcoming Cards

In this section, I will discuss the upcoming cards and their abilities that may come to the game via the shop and the Season Pass. Another new card keyword is coming in this new update, which is Moveable. It is just a more sophisticated version of the Move term.

The Sinister Six

The first card of this series is the much-popular Sinister Six. It is an evil group of six Spider-Man villains, hence the name. The members are- Mysterio, Vulture, Dr. Octopus, Sandman, Electro, and Craven the Hunter. It is a 6-cost card with a base power of 12. The text of this card states that when the game starts, the first 6 characters you draw will be evil. After you play them all, merge them into this and add this to the last one’s location.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Here comes the main man! The Spider-Man: Brand New Day card has a cost of 1, and the power output is 2. You can move it twice. After this moves to a location, give one of your cards there +1 power. This applies to the unrevealed cards, too. It is a great card for buff decks.

Scorpion: Spider-Man Brand New Day

The next card in the lot is the Scorpion. The card art is pretty awesome, as it accurately captures the character’s movie look. It is a 6-cost and 8-powered card. The ongoing ability of this card doubles the power reduction on all enemy cards. It will be a great addition for the affliction decks.

Spider-Sense

The Spider-Sense is a 5-cost collectible skill of this new Spotlight Cache. It has an on-reveal ability that gives your characters here +2 power. It also costs 1 less per movable card you’ve played. Technically, you can even play this skill for free if you use it in a move archetype deck.

Tarantula

Once again, it is an archrival card of Spider-Man. The Tarantula is a card that has a power and cost of 2. It’s an End of Turn card that states that if you have the highest power among cards in play, give this and 2 cards in your hand +2 power. You can use this card in the Invisible Woman x Jocasta decks.

Mary Jane

After Spider-Man, now it’s time for his better half: Mary Jane. She is another 3-cost and 3-powered card that gives each of your cards that moved this turn +1 power. She does this at the end of each turn. This card is a great fit for the movable decks.

Aunt May

All the closest people of Spider-Man are getting a card in this Spotlight Cache, which makes me wonder if we are going to see a similar kind of thing in the theatre too? I believe only time will tell that.

Meanwhile, the brand-new Aunt May card has a cost of 2 and a power output of 3. Once again, it is an End of Turn card. The text says that if you used a moveable ability, then give a moveable card in your hand -1 cost and +2 power.

Boomerang

The Boomerang is another 2-cost and 2-powered card. When this card returns to your hand, it randomly steals 4 power from cards in your opponent’s hand. He only returns to your hand when you activate the aforementioned ability of the card. It is an awesome fit for Scorpion: Spider-Man Brand New Day decks.

Tombstone

The last but not least card of this series is Tombstone. It is a heavily discussed card among the Marvel Snap fans for a long time, but it never made its debut in the game. Now, it seems he is finally coming. It has a power output of 3 and a cost of 2. The On Reveal ability lets him destroy your lowest-powered card at each other’s locations.
