Clash of Titans is hailed as India’s first-ever mobile MOBA game. It is developed by ACTOZ SG and has a design and gameplay very similar to another popular mobile MOBA game, Arena of Valor. The Esports tournament for Clash of Titans (CoT) named Titans Showdown 2022 has been recently announced and is open for registration. Let us explore more about the tournament.
Clash of Titans (CoT) Titans Showdown 2022: Schedule and Format
For participating in the tournament, players need to register their team with 5 members, before the registration closes. If the player is unable to get 5 players in their team before it closes, they will be automatically disqualified. The tournament will start on the 9th of July, 2022 ,and end on the 24th of July, 2022.
- 9th July – 13th July: The first round will be held amongst all the teams who have registered and they’ll fight in a single-elimination format till there are 16 teams left.
- 16th July – 17th July: After the 16 teams come out on the top victorious, they will fight for a spot in the Qualifiers stage in a Best of Three (BO3) single-elimination format. The top 8 teams left standing will proceed to the next stage.
- 21st July – 22nd July: The remaining 8 teams will play in a Best of Three (BO3) double-elimination format. The tournament would be left with the top 4 teams left standing, who will proceed into the Semi-Finals.
- 23rd July: The 4 teams will play for a place in the Grand Final in a Best of Three (BO3) format.
- 24th July: The 2 finalist teams will battle it out among themselves to become the Champions of Clash of Titans Titans Showdown 2022.
Prize Pool
Clash of Titans has decided on a big prize pool of ₹200000 (~$2533) for this tournament. The Prize Pool distribution is as follows:
- Winner: ₹90000 (~$1140)
- Second: ₹60000 (~$760)
- Third: ₹20000 (~$254)
- Fourth: ₹10000 (~$127)
- Fifth – Eighth: ₹5000 (~$64)

Interested players can register their teams for the tournament for free from the official website within the 5th of July, 2022. This is the first-ever Esports tournament of the first MOBA mobile game in India.
