Popular COD Mobile esports organization from India, Revenant Esports, in an exciting series of events has successfully signed two times COD Mobile World Championship winner Carl Butalid better known as Image Blaines as its coach for its Multiplayer Roster in Call of Duty Mobile.
Image played a key role in his previous organization, Tribe Gaming, to secure the champion’s position in the COD Mobile World Championship 2021 Western Finals. The American esports organization was unbeatable on their journey throughout the event and won against ARP Gaming by 3-1 to lift the trophy in what was Image’s last match in charge of Tribe. And he now joins Revenant as their coach, thus beginning a new journey in the COD Mobile esports arena.
Revenant Esports will be looking to turn things around with Image as their coach in COD Mobile World Championship 2022
Speaking of their past performances, although Revenant finished at 3rd position in the COD Mobile World Championship SA and ME finals in 2020, they could not live up to the expectations in the 2021 edition and finished at 12th in the Eastern Finals.
Soon after the dismal performance, Revenant had decided to part ways with their existing roster and so everything came to a standstill for them. But soon, the same roster was re-hired for the upcoming season. The current COD Mobile lineup consists of Nandhakishore “Abyss” Venugopalan, Rahul “Master” Machhar, Neeraj “Bones” G V, Divyanshu “Rekkles” Pabia, Omkar “Xyro” Pandit, Srivatsan “OiL” Suresh.

And now with the addition of a coach like Image at the helm of things, Revenant will surely be looking to turn things around this time and get the target accomplished – that of winning the cup in COD Mobile World Championship 2022. But before that, Image will be preparing the side for the upcoming COD Mobile India Challenge 2022, which is set to commence in a few days
Alongside Revenant’s point of view, Image Blaines was himself very much attracted to the Indian esports scenario for COD Mobile, which he had expressed on Twitter a few days ago. He also announced that he was looking to sign up as a head coach for a prominent Indian team to be directly involved in the scheme of things for the Indian esports industry for COD Mobile.
And within a few days of his announcement, he finally joins Revenant as their coach and will now be looking forward to increasing his tally of the number of World Championships won to three with Revenant Esports.
