Free Fire Latin America champions Team Aze joins Team Isurus

The all-time popular action and battle royale title Free Fire has great news in their Esports scene. Team Aze, who won the inaugural season of the Free Fire League in Latin America, commonly known as FFL, joins the roster of Team Isurus. This signals a new challenge for the players, who would be looking at a new future, filled with great opportunities and fame.


Team Aze: Brief History

Team Aze is a Mexican based esports team. Although they have been in and around the Free Fire esports scene since the year 2020, the team has gained fame for winning FFL Latin America Opening 2021. The team has pocketed a whopping cash prize of around 51,000 dollars.  The victory marked a first for the team since its inception. This was a remarkable improvement over its previous FFL Latin America opening finish of 7th place in the year 2020 when the team went home empty-handed. The victory at the 2021 FFL Latin America Opening is a clear indication of the team’s upward trend. This also secured a third-place podium finish at the 2020 FFL Latin America Closing.

A new venture looks at a promising future

As Team Aze joins the reputed esports Team Isurus, it signals a new challenge for the players. They will undoubtedly be salivating at the opportunity to earn further fame, glory and even cash. This represents Isurus’ first entry into the esports arena, and the organization have no doubt picked up a talented group of players to kickstart their journey with. The roster contains Juan Neira, Daniel Ayala and Efren Vazquez. In addition, Villadrop and Yorch were also roped in by Isurus to complete the set. The new roster was announced in a music video on Twitter titled Shine On by Juan Pedro Albanesi.

Now a part of Isurus, the team will look to defend its title at the FFL Latin America Closing. It is set to begin on the 14th of August, 2021. The event is set to attract millions of viewers and Isurus’ presence, which already has teams in games such as CS: GO and Rainbow Six Siege, will only add further glitz and glamour to the yearly tournament.
