Free Fire MAX is set to initiate the first esports event this year in India. The Free Fire MAX India Cup Spring 2026 will kick off this February and will crown the champion after it ends in April. There will be multiple stages in the event, along with individual awards and a huge prize pool. This article will focus on the whole of the event coming ahead.

Free Fire MAX India Cup Spring 2026: Schedule and Format

The event will be a marathon, taking place from February to the final weeks of April. There are multiple stages for the event to handpick the finalist teams. Starting from the city qualifiers, which will take place for four major cities, the event will cover six stages of battle among the teams.

The city qualifiers are designed to commit the teams to the main stages, and the second stage, in-game qualifiers, will also serve the same intention. Now, the rest of the stages are the regular stages for any esports event. Here’s an overview of them:

Group Stage

As per the mentioned schedule, the group stage will take place with the 48 selected teams from the qualifiers. Six teams will be from FFMIC 2025, four from the city qualifiers, and the remaining 38 will be from in-game qualifiers.

There will be two weeks in this stage. The first week will select the top nine teams to advance to the next week, while the second week will pick the top six to compete in the knockout stage.

Knockout Stage

This stage will take place between the 6th of March and the 8th. A total of 18 teams will compete in this stage. Matchdays run from Friday to Sunday. There will be three weeks as well, and each week will be a platform to climb to the next level.

Point Rush and Champion Rush

Both stages will take place for a day each. The former will commence with 12 teams in hand, while the latter will go through the same, but it will also determine which team will lift the champion trophy.

Participating Teams

There will be a total of 8 fixed teams for the Group Stage. Apart from that, the regular stages that will come next will have a reduced number of teams, as more and more teams will get eliminated.

The Grand Finals will showcase 12 teams, India’s top professional teams performing in the Free Fire MAX India Cup Spring 2026. We do not have the teams ready now as the qualifiers are yet to commence. Once we get to know the teams, we will update the list here.

Prize Pool

A total of ₹10,000,000 ($110,300) will be shared for the teams. The champion team will receive the highest share, while the others will take shares respectively according to their rankings. Here’s an overview of the prize pool:
