- Mobile Legends China Masters returns for Season 2 after a successful debut.
- The China-exclusive tournament will feature eight teams, with potential slots for MSC 2026.
After the successful debut event, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang China Masters is back with the second edition of the series. The MLBB China Masters 2026 Season 2 is ready to kick off soon, with eight teams and one or two possible slots for the top teams in the upcoming MSC 2026 in July. Organized by MOONTON Games, this China-exclusive event will be a milestone in hardening the game’s footprint in the host country.
MLBB China Masters 2026 Season 2: Schedule and Format
The esports event this year will bring some changes to the format. While we do not know the exact date and schedule for it, we know the upcoming changes. There will be a restriction on player import, where teams can only have one import.
The restriction further goes on, like the import cannot be of the jungle role. This is to bring new players and talents from the country. The league will also change to adopt a promotion/relegation system.

The recently concluded M7 brought a huge success for the game, and with the roadmap for 2026 already. With China’s domestic event coming now, the game will try to grab the market by competing with Honor of Kings.
Prize Pool
The prize pool for the second season has not been announced yet. However, it should be around $150,000 with additional awards and tickets to the global events. Once the details are in, I’ll update this article with the information.

Participating Teams
There will be a total of eight teams for this event. Among the teams, five of them are directly from the previous season, and the remaining three will be from the closed qualifier. So far, I know the ones from Season 1. Here’s a list of the participating teams:
- DianFengYaoGuai
- Guangzhou Gaming
- KeepBest Gaming
- YBinGame
- Ying Jiang Nan

From the last edition, the champion team got the chance to play directly in the M7 World Championship. The runner-up also went for the Wildcard stage. Following the trend, we can say that this time it will be almost the same, except for the fact that this time it will be MSC 2026 instead of M8.
