Free Fire‘s official regional league for the Middle East and North Africa, the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) MENA 2026 Spring, is here. The event will be organized by Garena, and starting from this year, the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region will be divided into two sub-regions: the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the Africa region.
The game’s commitment to keeping the calendar tight is already evident, as looking at the esports handles for countries and regions, it feels like the game cares more about the esports scene than any other game does. This is because the title is providing everything to the players and fans on time to keep them updated. Let these talks stay aside, and this article will focus on the event itself.
Free Fire World Series (FFWS) MENA 2026 Spring: Schedule and Format
There will be three stages in the event. The first one will be the Prelims, which will begin on the 24th of April, with all the participants. Teams will be divided into three groups of six each and play 18 matches across six matchdays. This stage will follow a round-robin format, and each team plays 12 matches. The top 10 teams will advance to the League Stage.
The League stage will kick off on the 1st of May, and again, the groups and the number of group members will be the same. This time, there will be three weeks, and each group will be reshuffled each week. A round-robin format will be applied, and 48 matches will take place across nine matchdays.

With the 12 top teams from the previous stage, the grand finals will take place from the 23rd of May to the 24th. The first six matches will follow the Points Rush, and the remaining eight matches will be considered as the grand finals. The team with the most points will claim the champion crown.
