Free Fire‘s official regional league for Southeast Asia, the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) SEA 2026 Spring, is around the corner, and the clock’s ticking to start the event. With a total of 18 teams and a huge amount for the teams to share, Garena is ready to bring the ultimate fight among the toppers. Free Fire World Series (FFWS) SEA 2026 Spring: Schedule and Format
There are mainly two stages in the event, but the initial one has several phases. The Knockout Stage will kick off on the 24th of April and continue until the 17th of May, 2026. This stage is divided into two phases. Phase one will have two weeks, during which 36 matches will take place across six matchdays.

A round-robin format will be applied, and each team will play a total of 24 matches. For the second phase, teams will be divided based on their first week’s ranking to play another two weeks. During this stage, a total of 12 teams will advance to the Grand Finals, and the bottom six will be eliminated.
The Grand Finals will run from the 30th of May to the 31st. On the first day, teams play for Champion Rush Headstart Points across 6 matches. The next day will follow the Champion Rush format. The highest point archiver will win the trophy.

As mentioned before, there will be a total of 18 teams for the event. 14 of them are from the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall, and the remaining four are from the 2026 Spring National Qualifier of Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Nusantara Series.

Prize Pool
The prize pool hits the $300,000 mark and also includes a few slots to the upcoming Esports World Cup 2026. The top eight teams will advance to the EWC 2026. Here’s a breakdown of the prize pool of the event:

Apart from the team shares, there will be an individual prize segment for the Grand Finals MVP. The player will receive an additional $4,000. Besides, one team will receive $250 a day for becoming the “Team of the Day” during the whole knockout stage.
