Honor of Kings is starting the 2026 esports year just like it did in the previous years. The opening event of this year will be the Honor of Kings Invitational 2026 Season 4. As announced in the esports roadmap earlier this year, the game will have an array of tournaments across different locations around the world. Level Infinite and TiMi Studios will jointly organize the event.
Honor of Kings Invitational (KIS) 2026 Season 4: Schedule and Format
The offline event will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is scheduled to kick off on the 31st of January 2026 with eight participating teams. The tournament is divided into two stages. The first one, the Group Stage, will start with the opening day of the event, where the teams will be split into two groups of four each.
There will be no elimination in the group stage, with teams fighting in a BO5 round robin format. The top two from each group will advance to the opposite halves of the bracket. These teams cannot be selected by the group winners. On the other hand, the bottom two will be available for selection.
Now, the Knockout stage will kick off on the 5th of February, 2026. All the teams will fight in a single elimination bracket. The group winners will be able to select the opponent from the bottom-ranked team. This stage will feature BO7 matches.
The whole event will see the implementation of the Global Ban-pick System. In the grand final, the Ultimate Battle System will be used if the scoreline stands equal.

Eight teams will go hard on each other in the colorful action MOBA event. These teams are the top performers from last year’s saga and will directly play in the Honor of Kings Invitational (KIS) 2026 Season 4. Here’s a list of the teams:

Prize Pool
The event will feature a total prize pool of $100,000. For a starter event of a new year, it is decent, I would say. We will see a huge rise in the number in the tournamnets to come.

The offline event will take place at GBK Basketball Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia. While the global fans will be missing the event in person, they can watch the live streams on the official channels of the game, such as Facebook, YouTube, etc.
