The grand finals of Clash Royale at World Cyber Games (WCG) 2023 Busan have ended today and Brazilian player Lucas LucasXGamer Rocha became the crowned champion. Besides winning the gold medal, he bagged $13,00 as the prize money. He took away the match by defeating Sweep by a 3-1 scoreline.

The grand finals began on the 28th of July with 8 finalists. And with the two top players, the final match was held on the 29th of July. The finals took place with two hot favorites LucasXGamer and Sweep, a Canadian esports player for Luminosity Gaming.
The champion LucasXGamer was confident from the very first round in the BO5 final match. He pulled up a victory in the first round while the runner-up took away the second one. However, two consecutive wins in the next two rounds went to the hands of LucasXGamer, and with a scoreline of 3-1, he became the crowned champion. The event also awarded the champion with a gold medal and the runner-up with a silver one.
Wook Jin Lee who is a server developer at Supercell, was present in the award ceremony and thanked everyone for their support. Before the final match, Clash Royale started with 8 participants at the WCG 2023 Busan. Players competed against each other in a double elimination bracket followed by all matches (excluding Winners Final, Losers Final, and Grand Final) played in a single set B03 duels format.
LucasXGamer bagged a massive reward from the event prize pool
A total prize pool of $30,000 was awarded to the participants based on their rankings after the end of the event. While the runner-up Sweep bagged $10,000, the Clash Royale champion at WCG pocketed $13,000. World Cyber Games (WCG) 2023, the Olympic of esports, started on the 28th of July, 2023.
The offline event took place at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center in South Korea. Besides Clash Royale, the event featured several other esports titles like Genshin Impact, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, etc. WCG 2023 Busan will wrap up its journey on the 30th of July. All the main events of the WCG 2023 were live-streamed on the official YouTube and Twitch channels of WCG.
