- AlternaVvelt Blue Exorcist AS is a 3D action RPG with fun combat, fully voiced story, and more.
- You can still enjoy the Ending Story until EOS and later transition to the offline version before September 30, 2026.
Aniplex has announced the shutdown of its beloved 3D action RPG, AlternaVvelt Blue Exorcist AS, set for June 22, 2026. First revealed in December 2023, the game officially launched in June 2025 and is sunsetting after a year of service.
The game is saying goodbye early, as the devs can no longer continue the service
So, AlternaVvelt Blue Exorcist AS is a 3D ARPG based on the popular manga and anime, Blue Exorcist. Here, you take on the role of the main character in an all-new, fully voiced storyline that introduces new characters, too. You can take on various missions, become an Exorcist, learn Demonic Elements, and defeat powerful enemies.
Unfortunately, the AlternaVvelt Blue Exorcist AS team has announced via X (Twitter) that the game will shut down on June 2, 2026, stating, “We have come to the difficult conclusion that we are unable to continue providing a service that satisfies our players.”
You can enjoy the final story until EOS and continue with the offline version later
Following the announcement, the game has disabled in-app purchases and suspended the auto-renewal of Altex Pass. You can still play until EOS and enjoy the Ending Story, which will release on June 1 after maintenance. The good news is that the game will transition into an offline version after EOS.
The update for the offline version will begin after maintenance, although the download and update period will only remain available until September 30, 2026. And even though it’s sad that the game is ending too soon, I’m happy that we can at least revisit the story, fight demons, and explore the True Cross Academy Town even after the service ends.
