Genshin Impact Version 6.6 Character Banners: Who should you pull

Genshin Impact Version 6.6 Phase 1 banners will go live from May 20, 2026, to June 10, 2026, and Phase 2 banners will go live from June 10, 2026, to July 1, 2026. The Phase 1 banners will feature one new playable and one re-run character in a dual banner, and Phase 2 banners will feature two re-run characters in a dual banner.

We will assess each character’s strengths and qualities in the future meta of the game and advise on who you should prefer to pull from the two playable characters. 

Who should you go for between Nicole, Durin, Mauvika, and Lohen in Genshin Impact Version 6.6 banners

The Genshin Impact banner, featuring Nicole, Durin, Mavuika, and Lohen in Version 6.6, makes it hard to decide who to pull. It depends on your team’s needs and your priorities for future content. Each character brings unique strengths to the table, but some offer more immediate and long-term value than others.

Here’s a breakdown to help you decide.

1. Nicole

Nicole is the newest 5-star Pyro support Catalyst user in Genshin Impact. She is an ATK-scaling sub-DPS and a dedicated support, specifically designed for Hexerei teams. She provides team-wide ATK buffs, a strong Pyro shield, and can deal off-field AoE Elemental DMG. Her kit revolves around her Skill and Ultimate.

2. Durin

Durin is a five-star Pyro sub DPS sword user in Genshin Impact. Durin’s playstyle is different from other sub DPS and buffer characters. He has two different playstyles. Either you can use him as a full-fledged damage dealer who will give massive damage, or you can sacrifice some damage for buffs.

With his Principle of Purity state, he can reduce enemies’ elemental resistance by 35%, and with his Principle of Darkness state, his vaporize and melt damage increases by 70%.

3. Mavuika

Mavuika is a 5-star Pyro Claymore DPS character in Genshin Impact. Her gameplay centres around her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, which features the Nightsoul mechanic. Her burst hits like a truck, and she can shred through enemies, especially when she builds up enough “fighting spirit.”

She shines brightest when paired with characters that use the Night Soul mechanic, but that also makes her team options limited. If you have her premium team, she can still outshine Nod Krai DPS.

4. Lohen

Lohen is a 5-Star Cryo Polearm user in Genshin Impact. He is an on-field Cryo DPS, specialising in Melt teams. He converts his basic and charge attacks into cryo damage with his unique Will to Win mechanisms. With his Will to Win mechanism, he can increase his personal damage. Who should you pull in Version 6.6 to make your team future-proof in Genshin Impact

Phase 1

Between the two, Nicole and Durin are both future-proof characters. Both have multiple team options and can provide buffs and increase Hexrei characters several times. If you are looking for a character specifically for buffing your team, then go for Nicole, but if you want a decent buffer but slightly more serious damage, then go for Durin.

Phase 2

Lohen and Mavuika are the main DPS. At this moment, if you want a strong DPS, I recommend that you go for Mavuika. She is already the strongest DPS in the game if you have her premium team. But if you need a cryo DPS, go for Lohen.
