Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is entering the Indian esports scene with its official circuit starting this year. As part of the roadmap, a new publisher-backed tournament, Moba Legends Master Series (MLMS), has already been announced by Mineski Events Team and Vizta Games and is accepting team registrations this March.
According to the new roadmap, the champion team will directly participate in the upcoming MSC 2026, which will be staged on the Esports World Cup (EWC) in mid-2026.
Mobile Legends was banned in India in 2020, and the company had to rebrand it under the name Moba Legends: 5v5, which became available from September, 2024. Now, after a couple of years in the line, the esports arena is opening doors for India, with Mineski Events Team organizing it.
Schedule and Format
This tournament will follow a multi-stage competitive format that gives the first 256 teams to sign up a chance to compete. The registration period is now live and will be open till the 19th of March. After that, the teams will go through Open Qualifiers from March 23 to 30, taking on a single-elimination bracket following best-of-three matchups later on.

After that, the top two teams will be joining the League Stage with six other invited teams, which is taking place from April 5 to 26. The matches will follow a round-robin format. And the top six teams here will then compete in MLMS Grand Finals, taking place from May 9 to 10 as LAN event. The champion team will receive a direct slot to the upcoming MSC 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It’s great to see Indian teams finally getting a chance to represent themselves via this official publisher-backed national tournament. Thanks to this, both grassroots teams and established rosters can compete in a nationally structured competition.
Prize Pool
So, the best teams of India will be competing for a massive prize pool of ₹46,00,000 or around $50,000, along with becoming the first MLMS champion and representing the country at the EWC 2026. The esports roadmap for 2026 was announced a few days back, and India was added as one of the regions that will directly participate in the Main Stage of MSC 2026.
