The Arab edition of PUBG Mobile’s Star Challenge Series, PUBG Mobile Star Challenge (PMSC) Arabia 2022 has ended last night with Nigma Galaxy being the champion. The team has scored a total of 201 points with four chicken dinners in their pocket. Cryptics, with 168 points, became the runner-up while third place went to YaLLa Esports. On April 21, a total of 16 invited teams faced each other in the battleground. After 16 rounds of play, the tournament got its champion, Nigma Galaxy.
PMSC Arabia 2022: Nigma Galaxy’s journey to becoming the champion
Nigma had a decent start on the event. They finished the initial day being third with a chicken dinner and 46 total points. Twisted Minds, the table leader, scored 59 points while the second-placed YaLLa took 55. The second day went well for Nigma Galaxy and they finished in the top position. The champion team picked up the highest points of the day. YaLLa remained at second. Except for the champion team, the rest two days witnessed some changes in the rankings.
YaLLa maintained their lead till the third day but couldn’t stand in front of Cryptics. The team played dominantly in the last half of the event. They climbed to the runner-up position from the bottom of the table.
The top teams get a fair share of the massive prize pool
The PMSC Arabia 2022 featured a $100,000 prize pool. Being the champion, Nigma Galaxy bagged $35,000. The runner-up Cryptics took $20,000 while the third-placed team YaLLa Esports managed to grab $10,000. Before the finals, 16 teams joined the event for becoming the star champion of Arab. By winning the event, the champion team sends a message to the others about the upcoming global events. The team came third in the last PMGC.
