ONIC Esports has disbanded their League of Legends: Wild Rift roster after a four-month journey

Champion of the Icon Series Summer Indonesia parts a month after winning the title

ONIC Esports, a professional Esports management team from Indonesia, founded on the 26th of July, 2018 has disbanded their Wild Rift roster today. They declared their team only four months ago and won the champion title of the ICON Series Summer Indonesia recently. Today, a tweet from their official account confirmed the news of the separation.

A short journey comes to an end

ONIC Esports was created in 2018. Their journey with the League of Legends: Wild Rift team had lasted just four months before it has disbanded the roster. The team was formed in March 2021, with players from different games like Arena of Valor professionals and former League of Legends players, and three newcomers.

Today, mimin wants to tell you that we also have to part with ONIC Wild Rift. Thank you for all the dedication and achievements that have been given while being part of the ONIC Esports journey. Best of luck with your future career. Of course, our best wishes and prayers will always accompany your next journey. See you next time.

The team was composed of former Arena of Valor players Farhan “Hanss” Akbari and Hartanto “Pokka” Lius from EVOS Esports. They had also acquired the League of Legends PC professionals Govher “Gov” Tallulembang Madethen and Randy “Santana” Haryanto Manik. The other three were newcomers Yasir “Ysa” Yasyfa Amin, Iko “Frezzy” Setiawan, and Ibrahim “Hundjaegers” Ali.

Final Thoughts

The LoL Wild Rift roster had become the champions of SEA Icon Series 2021: Summer Indonesia in June 2021. They have also got the chance to represent Indonesia in the Wild Rift SEA Icon: Summer Super Cup 2021. Of course, this is a piece of heartbreaking news for their Wild Rift supporters. Currently, ONIC Esports has four teams for Valorant, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile and Free Fire to play for them.

However, the former League of Legends: Wild Rift players won’t have to wait long for getting new sponsors as they were quite a successful team while playing under the ONIC Esports organization. Their former organization has also wished them well for their future!
