Riot Games has announced the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Summer Season 2021

Announcements for the Super Summer Cup to follow!

Riot Games Southeast Asia has announced the schedule of League of Legends Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Summer Season 2021 and its registration dates, qualifier start dates along their broadcast channels for each region, following the five weekend-long regional Preseason of the tournament, which has gone almost halfway with two out of the seven regions concluded.


Registration and Qualifier dates are revealed

To explain the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Summer Season 2021, it features eight weeks of summer tournaments to showcase exciting matches and the top talents in the League of Legends: Wild Rift Esports scene. It is scheduled to start on April 3 2021, in the 7 regions of the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.

Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Summer Season 2021

The Preseason of the said tournament has already shown some action-packed and exciting games from the invited teams which have brought more attention and hype to the said tournament. According to head Esports for Riot Games, Southeast Asia, Hongkong, and Taiwan, Chris Tran said that the top teams are expected to show up in the games again this incoming Summer season for the Super Summer Cup to bring the same content they brought before including RSG and Geek Fam, while the others are still to be decided.

At the end of March in the Preseason, the top teams of the tournament will join the Summer season’s best players and the team from each competing locale in competing for the Super Summer Cup, which is assumed to be held at the end of June. More information on the Super Summer Cup would be revealed soon. Here is the full list of registration dates, qualifier start dates with the broadcast channels for each regional tournament.
