PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 PEL Qualifier is the qualifier for PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 from the Chinese region. This will be an offline Peace Elite tournament that will start on October 6, 2022 and end on October 30, 2022. A total of 17 Chinese teams will participate in this Peace Elite League qualifier and only the champion will qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 League Stage. The tournament has been hosted by Tencent and VSPN.
PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 PEL Qualifier: Format
Regular Season
There will be three weeks of the regular season in the PMGC 2022 PEL Qualifier, from 6 October to 23 October. The regular season will have two stages: Breakout and Weekly Finals.
Breakout
After the end of each week, 15 teams will take part in the breakout. The breakout will be held on the Day 1 and 2 of each week. 16th – 17th place from the previous week’s Breakout and 3rd – 15th place from the previous week’s Weekly Finals will participate in the breakout of that week.
The top 13 teams will qualify for the weekly finals and the 16-17th teams will qualify for the following week’s breakout.
Weekly Finals
Weekly finals will be held on days 3 and 4 of every week. The top 2 of the previous week’s Weekly Finals and the Top 9 of Breakout will take part in the weekly finals. The top 2 teams will qualify for next week’s Weekly Finals. 3rd – 15th place teams will qualify for the following week’s Breakout. Points earned during the Weekly Finals will be directly cumulated towards the Regular Season standings.
Finals
The finals will commence from 27-30 October with the top 15 teams from the regular season standings. A total of 20 matches will be played in the final stage of the PMGC 2022 PEL Qualifier, the teams will be given headstart points based on their placement in the regular season. The winner of the event will be determined from this stage and they will get a direct entry to PUBG Mobile Global Championship.
