PUBG Mobile has announced the first PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC UK 2021) launch in the United Kingdom. Teams from across the UK can sign up and compete for a prize pool of £22,000 ($30,000). Sponsored by Xiaomi, the PMNC UK 2021 is the first of its kind for the United Kingdom as PUBG Mobile is trying to expand its esports base. It’s a part of many tournaments scheduled by PUBG Mobile in Western Europe with a total prize pool of $400,000. It includes PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship Western Europe that included student players from the UK, France, and Germany. With these tournaments, PUBG Mobile is eyeing a spot in the local esports ecosystem.
How to register for PMNC UK 2021
Residents of the UK can register for PUBG Mobile National Championship at the official website. However, the team should comprise at least 4 players to at most 6 players from the same country. The registration has started on April 30, 2021, and the process is simple but you need to register before May 24, 2021. The top 2 games from each map will be calculated and the top 32 teams will advance to the in-game qualification.
It is worth noting that roster change will not be possible after the squad submission.
Eligibility Criteria for PMNC United Kingdom 2021
All the participants should be UK citizens. Also, all the players of a team must be sixteen years or older, on the starting day of the tournament. All the eligible players along with those who fulfil the team roster requirements will receive a 2-day temporary limited PMNC in-game parachute after the PMNC in-game qualifiers.
PUBG Mobile National Championship UK 2021 format
In-game qualification
PUBG Mobile National Championship 2021 will start with an 8-day in-game online qualifying session. This qualifying session will help in determining the best 32 teams and they will directly advance to the PMNC UK 2021 group stage. The qualifying round for PUBG Mobile National Championship UK 2021 will take place between Jun 4, 2021 to June 11, 2021.
Group stage
Out of the best 32 teams from the qualifying round, the top 16 teams will be moving to the group stage based on their ranking. It’s scheduled to take place between July 22, 2021 to August 1, 2021. PUBG Mobile will release more details for this round as the tournament progresses.
Finals
The top 8 teams from the group stage of PMNC UK 2021 will advance to the final round and that is expected to take place for three continuous days. Out of these teams, the best team will be crowned as champions of PMNC UK 2021. The champion will also get a direct ticket to PMPL Western Europe Season 2.
