Brawl Stars World Finals 2022 is all set to start on the 25th of November, 2022 with the top 16 teams from all around the world. Teams from all over the world qualified for this championship event through several regional qualifiers and monthly tournaments throughout this year. Nova Esports was crowned as the champion of the Mainland China Finals, the qualifier event for China. With the win, they successfully secured their spot in the grandest stage. However, Reconic Esports will now play the event in place of Nova Esports, due to Nova players not being able to travel.
Reconic Esports themselves will be playing Brawl Stars World Finals 2022 with a mix of live and remote players
Nova Esports was initially supposed to play in the Brawl Stars World Finals 2022 from the Mainland China spot as they became the champion of the Mainland China Finals. Reconic Esports became the runner-up of the tournament after getting defeated by Nova Esports in the final with a 3-0 score. However, due to an unfortunate turn of events, Nova Esports can no longer take part in the Brawl Stars World Finals 2022.
There has been no official statement from the Nova Esports side till the time of writing this article. However, it has already been confirmed officially that Reconic Esports TOC will be taking the spot due to Nova Players not being able to travel to Paris. Initially, it was proposed that the players from Nova and Reconic would make a mixed roster and travel to Paris to play at the event.
However, unfortunately, none of the Nova Esports players was able to travel to Paris, for which their slot was passed to the runner-up of the Mainland China Finals. Although, Reconic Esports TOC themselves would not be able to travel with the complete team. Goodnight and White from Reconic Esports TOC were able to travel to Paris only. On the other hand, Koalano and Imp will be playing the matches remotely as they were also not able to travel to Paris.
Brawl Stars World Finals 2022 is set to start on 25 November with a grand event in Disneyland Paris. The tournament will be featuring a massive prize pool of $500,000Â USD with the top 16 teams from all around the world fighting for the championship title. It is really unfortunate for Nova Esports and their fans that the first Brawl Stars champions would not be able to play this year’s event. Hopefully, fans can still experience intense action throughout the tournament from the other teams in the event.
