Riot Games Korea has announced a Wild Rift Rivals 2021 tournament featuring the LCK and LPL teams. The tournament is scheduled to start on August 11th and will continue till August 14th, 2021. The event is one of the first international tournaments in the Wild Rift esports scene.
List of teams participating in Wild Rift Rivals 2021
A total of six different teams are taking part in the tournament, three teams from LCK and three teams from LPL. The following is the list of teams playing at the upcoming invitational tournament.

- Sandbox Gaming
LPL (Chinese Region)
- Oh My God
- EDward Gaming
- Bilibili Gaming
Prize Pool
A total of $87,000 has been announced as the grand prize pool for the invitational tournament. The prize distribution according to the podium positions is given below.

Wild Rift Rivals 2021 Format and Schedule
All the matches in the Wild Rift Invitational tournament will be played on the game patch version 2.4. The teams will be divided into two groups according to their region.
August 11th to 13th – Best of Three
- Both the regions will compete against each other in the best of three formats (Bo3)
- The region with the most round wins at the end of two days will earn the finals advantage.
August 14th – Rift Rivals Format
- All the matches starting from 14th will be played in a Rift Rivals Format, each match consists of 1 LCK vs 1 LPL team in a Bo3.
- The first region to win 3 matches will win the entire series.
- The region that gained the finals advantage will get to see the opponent’s team selection ahead of their choice in match 1.
Where to watch Wild Rift Rivals 2021
The entire tournament will be broadcasted on the official LCK channel as well as on the Wild Rift YouTube channel. The stream will only be cast in the Korean language.
