RRQ bids farewell to its PUBG Mobile Thailand division roster

The team was struggling to achieve the desired success

One of the greatest PUBG Mobile esports teams in the world, RRQ finally bids farewell to its entire Thailand division roster. A post from their official Instagram account confirmed the disbandment of the team. RRQ is one of those teams that have brought a revolution to the PUBGM esports scene in Southeast Asia. The team was struggling to perform on both the regional and global stage for many days.

Reasons behind the disbandment

The management of RRQ said that there are several reasons behind taking the hard decision. The team was lacking to show what RRQ is in the pro-PUBGM scene, and the contract with players is also going to end in a short time. Besides, one organization is not allowed to register more than one team in the same region.

Accumulating all these factors, the result comes as a heartbreaking farewell to the team. The just disbanded roster of RRQ was announced in this year’s March.

The iconic journey already ended in February

Fans have already witnessed the end of an era when the legendary players left RRQ Athena, the most loved team and also known as the “Kings Of Pochinki”, last February. The most known roster of G9, D2E, Earnny, Senior, and Beer11 left after PMGC season zero. To honor the great achievement that RRQ Athena brought in the history of both RRQ and PUBG Mobile, the organization decided to no longer use the name “Athena”.

RRQ is a Thai PUBG Mobile team under Rex Regum Qeon, a multi-gaming organization based in Indonesia. Founded in October 2013, the organization is represented by the Indonesia Dota players. Currently, the organization is expanded into a variety of other major titles like Free Fire, Wild Rift, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, etc. However, RRQ’s Indonesia division in PUBGM, “RRQ RYU” is trying heart and soul to bear the organization’s glorious history. Earlier this month, the team came as the champion of PUBG Mobile Pro League – Season 4 2021: Indonesia League stage.
