Team Spirit is crowned as the champion of Mobile Legends Continental Championships (MCC) Season 3

Qualified for the MSC 2024

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Continental Championships (MCC) Season 3 has concluded its run and Team Spirit becomes the champion. As the first esports major is now in hands, the team also booked a slot in the MSC 2024. On the way to becoming the champion, the team defeated Brute Force in a cut-to-throat battle, scorelined at 4-3.

With 8 participant teams, Mobile Legends Continental Championships (MCC) Season 3 kicked off on the 30th of March 2024. It featured a $40,000 prize pool and was jointly organized by MOONTON and FISSURE. Both online and offline matches took place.

Mobile Legends Continental Championships (MCC) Season 3 champion went through a tricky stage

Team Spirit faced off VSG in their first playoff match but lost by a 0-2 scoreline. When the hopes were looking vague, the team stood up against the odds and took consecutive wins along the way. It defeated the same VSG in the lower bracket final by a sweep 3-0 scoreline and met Brute Force there.

On the other hand, the runner-up didn’t have to go through this many odds. They managed to climb to the grand finals after picking up some easy wins against the opponents. However, when these two finalists met in the grad finals, the match was one of a kind.

The BO7 grand final had all of the suspense to throw at the spectators. After the first 6 rounds, the scoreline was at 3-3 as no teams could win more. Whenever a team managed to pick up a win, the other one replied with another! However, the last round became the ultimate battle, and Team Spirit with all they had, won the round to make the scoreline 4-3.

A good share of money and a direct slot in the MSC 2024 have been awarded

MCC Season 3 featured a total of $40,000 as the prize pool and champion Team Spirit took the biggest portion. The team was awarded $13,000 and the runner-up pocketed $8,000. But the most wanted prize was the direct slot to the upcoming MSC 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Being the champion, Team Spirit booked a direct flight to the destination while the runner-up will have to go through another challenge, the Wildcard stage.

However, the challenge remains for the MCC Season 3 champion because the next event will increase the difficulty to the peak height. All the global powerhouses will gather in Riyadh at the stage of the Esports World Cup 2024 where Team Sprit will carry the continental flag representing CIS, Georgia, and Ukraine. Let’s hope the team can fulfill the dreams that the fans are hoping for.
