Total Gaming Esports are the Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) Summer 2021 champions

Total Gaming Esports make it big at FFPL Summer!

One of the major Esports events in Free Fire has ended with team Total Gaming Esports being crowned as the Free Fire Pro League Summer (FFPL) 2021 champions. Time and time again, Team Total Gaming has proven its mettle in competitive events by winning titles with a consistent display of skills and judgment over years now. They will be taking home prize money worth INR 15 lakhs of the total prize pool of INR 35 lakhs. TSM-FTX and Team Elite claimed the remaining pole positions of 2nd and 3rd. Each of these teams will each get INR 7,50,000 and INR 3,50,000 to take home, respectively.

Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) Summer 2021: Scorecard

Total Gaming did not have the best of starts, with no Boyaah until the 4th Round. TSM-FTX seemed to likely be the favored winners. However, post winning the Booyah in Map 4 Bermuda, the team showed its versatile gameplay and the experience was just reflected through the judgments and calls taken by the team leader TG-FozyAjay. It was an insane comeback that led the team to the title. TSM-FTX, formerly known as Sixth Sense, managed to finish second as the zone shrinking didn’t work in their favor much.

It is interesting to note that this is the first appearance of the TSM roster since its acquisition of the Sixth Sense squad. Sixth Sense had always been a very reputed and leading esports team that recently won the Free Fire Tri-Series 2021, now playing under the TSM-FTX banner. In terms of performance, viewers were in for some major disappointment as Galaxy Racers displayed a rather mediocre performance by their standards. Lofty reactions and poor judgment of the zone added to their turmoil. Team Elite, on the other hand, finished at 3rd position with a promising performance.

Final Thoughts

The Top 6 teams in the overall standings will get direct slots in the upcoming Free Fire India Championship Fall Split, 2021. The FFIC is the most anticipated event of the year featuring a humongous prize pool of INR 60,00,000. So, the top 6 teams including previous Battle Arena winners 4 Unknown will be certainly met with great excitement right from the starting of the event. The remaining 6 teams will be battling out in closed qualifiers and have slots confirmed for the same. Let us hope that previous FFIC winners Galaxy Racers eSports also grab this opportunity to affirm their slot for the FFIC finals, happening this Fall 2021.
