Vampire Esports wins the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Thailand Spring Finals 2022

The team showcased an intense gameplay!

The pro scene of PUBG Mobile esports Thailand witnessed another great event to conclude today. PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Thailand Spring Finals 2022 has come to an end with Vampire Esports being the champion. The team scored a total of 228 points on their run to claim the throne. Bacon Time became the runner-up with a total of 208 points in their bag while TEM Entertainment claims the third position.

The top three teams on the point table have made their way to the upcoming regional championship, the PUBG Mobile Pro League Southeast Asia Spring Championship 2022 while the 4th-6th positioned teams will go through the play-in stage of the event. Scheduled to take place in May, the tournament will showcase the top 16 teams qualified from the sub-regional finals. The crowning event to select the domestic champion of Thailand started on March 23rd, 2022. After three weeks of league play and the grand finals, the event ended today. 

Vampire Esports’s journey through the PMPL Thailand Spring Finals 2022

With the top 16 teams from the regular league standings, the grand finals begin on April 22. On the initial day of the event, Valdus Esports picked up the very first chicken dinner. E29 Gaming showed a monstrous performance and finished the first day being the table topper.

They picked up two WWCDs in the day. Bacon Time, the league topper, secured 118 points and become second. Champion Vampire came up as the top four teams with 101 points. Powerhouse Infinity delivered a decent performance and with 99 points, they finished sixth.

The next day witness a lot of changes in the ranking as teams were coming up with their level best performances. The day went well for E29 and they remained in the top position with 167 points. The team took a WWCD on this day. Vampire climbed to the top 2 while Bacon finished at five.

The day was so intense that the second and third teams collected 159 each while the immediate next two gathered the same 149. Infinity was the most dominant of all as the team picked the most elimination points. 

As the event advanced to the final day, teams were ready to take a hand. The battlegrounds were trembling with the sounds of grenades, and guns that are firing continuously. E29, being the topper for two days, spend a horrible third day and couldn’t even finish in the top five except in one match where they came in the top three.

Vampire Esports earns a big share of the massive prize pool being the champion of PMPL Thailand Spring Finals 2022

PUBG Mobile Pro League Thailand Finals 2022 featured a massive $97,380 as the prize money. Winning the trophy has secured decent prize money for Vampire Esports while the rest of the participating teams also bagged a fair share of the prize pool.

TonyK from FaZe became the MVP of the event. He alone picked up 135 eliminations for his team in the whole season. Besides, a few players were awarded a handsome amount in several categories for being realme Star.

Final thoughts

It was never easy for any of the participating teams to get out with the top position without throwing any challenges to the others. After fighting a long battle, the most consistent and dominant team came out victorious.

However, the challenge does not end here as the next event is already knocking. With a target to confirm a slot in the global championship, the team will be looking forward to showcasing more gunpower and strategic moves in the future vents.
