Wuhan.eStarPro has been crowned as the world champion of Honor of Kings in the Honor of Kings International Championship 2022 after an amazing undefeated run. The side beat Gank Gaming in the final of the event with a scoreline of 4-2 in a Best of 7 (Bo7) match. eStarPro will be taking $3,500,000 as the champions, while Gank Gaming gets $1,300,000 as the runner-up of the tournament.

This year’s tournament was the first edition of the world championship featuring international teams. Teams from selected regions played several qualifiers for qualifying for the championship event. eStar Pro along with seven other teams entered the competition from China. Wuhan.eStarPro also showed extraordinary performance throughout KPL, as the team collected the most KPL points among all the teams.
Coming into the Honor of Kings International Championship 2022, eStar Pro was definitely one of the hot favorites of the tournament. The team did not disappoint their fans as they started their unbeaten journey in the tournament right from the group stage. The team topped Group A without even dropping any map in any of the three matches.
eStar Pro started their knockout stage by facing EDward Gaming in the first match. The team faced all the other high-voltage teams of the tournament in all the knockout matches and won every one of them. In Quarter Finals, eStar Pro beat EDward Gaming with a score of 4-2.
