Needless to say, each character in the game offers certain different stats and abilities for players to adjust in their playstyles. There are a variety of characters to choose from in the game each offering different skill sets and hailing from different elements. Please note, that these rankings are based on my personal experience, so adjust your choices according to your play style. This tier list aims to streamline character selection and ensure players can easily choose the best characters for their needs.

In my experience, Phantasmal Dawn – Hera stands out as one of the best universal support characters in the game due to her versatile abilities and significant impact on team performance. She excels at boosting the performance of her teammates by significantly increasing their damage output.
Her unique ability to enhance injury rates during critical moments makes her invaluable for maximizing team strategies, especially in fast-paced and decisive battles. Hera’s talent in actively entering zero-hour spaces further solidifies her role as a dependable asset, ensuring consistent support and effectiveness across different team setups.
Best Nile Modifier – Living Soul – Osiris
From what I’ve seen, Living Soul – Osiris is great for her strong attacks and ability to survive tough battles. She’s good at starting fights fast and keeping up the pace.
Her skills are tailored to handle tough enemies, which makes her a solid choice when you need consistent damage and durability. Osiris works best in teams that need to stay strong and deal damage steadily.
Best Shinou Modifier – Flower of Yomi – Izanami
In my experience, Flower of Yomi – Izanami stands out as one of the top choices due to her exceptional ice-based abilities and reliable performance in battles. She’s highly effective in delivering consistent damage and excels in both offense and defense, making her a versatile option for various combat situations.

In my experience, Rahu – Asura is considered one of the best characters primarily due to his exceptional fire output capabilities and potent time control skills. Best Tian Yuan Modifier – Untainted Heart – Lingguang
From what I’ve seen, Untainted Heart – Lingguang shines because she’s incredibly versatile in both offense and support roles within Aether Gazer. She’s excellent at boosting team damage and lowering enemy fire resistance, which makes her a crucial asset in teams that focus on fire-based strategies. Players love her for consistently improving team performance and ensuring their survival in tough battles.
Final Thoughts
The game, Aether Gazer makes it very interesting for the players to choose the right character for their gameplay as every character offers something different and something unique. With so many equally deserving characters in the game on offer the tier list could be a little subjective and open for discussion.
