Clash of Clans Guide: List of the best Builder’s Workshop base layouts

Build the base layouts!

Supercell’s Clash of Clans is one of the most-played strategy titles around the world. So, to keep the users engaged, the updates need to keep coming and should be something unique. One such update that has been very popular is the Clan Capital, which has been an immensely popular mode ever since its introduction in the Spring of 2022. With the districts needing attention as well, it is important to build strong bases for the districts. After the Ballon Lagoon, the Builder’s Workshop is the one being unlocked. To help the players in base building, this article will help you design some fantastic base layouts for the Builder’s Workshop in Clash of Clans.

Builder’s Workshop in Clash of Clans

Builder’s Workshop gets unlocked once your Capital Hall is upgraded to Level 5. Once again, there is a significant difference from the previous districts in terms of the unlock sequence of buildings or the number of buildings altogether.

With the Builder’s Workshop, two barracks will get unlocked. The Raid Cart Barracks is the first one getting unlocked, at the District Hall level 1. It unlocks the Raid Cart. At hall level 2, the Super P.E.K.K.A Barracks gets unlocked where the players can train the Super P.E.K.K.A.

Defensive buildings are also in abundance and have more walls to cover and expand compared to the previously discussed ones. This allows more creativity added to the bases, and design working ones effectively.

Players and clans can design their favorite bases. However, Clash of Clans is yet to implement a Copy Base option. So you can’t just bring in a reference base and copy it. The bases in your base should be manually arranged.

Builder’s Workshop Level 1

Apart from starting with the basic defensive buildings and traps unlocked, the Level 1 upgrade of the district hall will unlock many defensive buildings. This level will have a maximum of Eight Spear Throwers, Six Air Defenses, and Five Cannons that can be placed. With these comes the other defensive buildings, and can place Two each of Multi Mortar, Multi Cannon, Super Wizard Tower, Air Bombs, Crusher, Giant Cannon, Hidden Mega Tesla, and Rapid Rockets. With plenty of defensive options, 100 walls seems a smaller count, but it can be managed.

Builder’s Workshop Level 2

Level 2 of the Builder’s Workshop unlocks the X-Bow sibling, the Blast Bow. It is also unlocked at Capital Hall level 6, but the first in District Hall. Similar to the Scattershot in the Home Village, the Blast Bow fires large ballista projectiles with high damage per shot and the ability to do splash damage to units behind the target that was hit. A few more defensive and non-defensive buildings are unlocked, which has to be managed with twenty extra walls unlocked with this.

Builder’s Workshop Level 3

Level 3 of the District Hall in the Builder’s Workshop unlocks the Mega Mine and is the last unique item to get unlocked. They can be toggled between attacking ground units and attacking air units, just like Mega Mines in the Builder Base, but cannot attack both at the same time.

Builder’s Workshop Level 4

Both Level 4 and Level 5 of the Builder’s Workshop don’t get many unlocks. The upgrade is with the levels, and that’s it. So, you can be a little creative in building the base or follow a few changes to any one of your already working bases at Level 3.

Builder’s Workshop Level 5

Level 5 unlocks one extra Blast Bow, that helps in strengthening your defense more. So, with the extra 20 walls at your offering, you can push this deeper or place it in a tricky manner. Once again, with the slight differences, you can do the arrangement similar to the Level 4 base of the Builder’s Workshop.
