The ongoing October 2023 season of Clash of Clans has come with its second challenge in the game, this time featuring the Clan Capital. As Clash of Clans players are eager to take on this fresh challenge which is theed after the Clash-O-Ween theme, we have devised effective strategies to 3-star this Clan Capital Challenge.
Introducing the Clan Capital Challenge in Clash of Clans
This is the first Clan Capital challenge Clash of Clans has introduced and to be honest, it appears relatively straightforward. There isn’t much to fret over here, especially considering the introduction of the new troops and spells featured in the October 2023 update along with balance changes to Clan Capital, which makes this challenge a bit easier.
Once more, the reward structure remains consistent with previous challenges. A different pattern would have been nicer, but it is okay. Along with the extra resources that are provided, players can gain 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Builder Potion
How to beat the Clan Capital Challenge in Clash of Clans
To kick things off, we initiate the attack with two Super Barbarians, one positioned on the left and the other on the right side of the base, where both will attack the same hut but will split later. This approach serves to split the attack pattern, covering both flanks of the capital base. On the left side, there’s an abundance of defensive structures to deal with.
To address this, we deploy a PEKKA with two Super Wizards trailing behind her to effectively clear out the defenses. While Mega Sparky is an option here, she tends to be slower, and we’ll require her on the right side of the base, in conjunction with the new Super Miners.
Shifting our focus to the right side of the base, we continue with a similar strategy as with the PEKKA. Deploy one Mega Sparky and have two Super Wizards backing her up to deal with the relentless Goblin Thrower, which can be quite a nuisance.
However, it’s time to eliminate this troublesome defensive structure, and for this task, we enlist the help of the Miners. Target the nearest Goblin Thrower defense, utilizing the Frost Spell to slow down the defense, and send in a Super Miner to take it out.
Utilize your remaining Super Barbarians on both sides of the base where the PEKKA and Sparky are progressing to protect your Super Wizards. Employ the Lightning Spell to eliminate the spawning Goblins once the Thrower is neutralized. The remaining steps should be relatively straightforward since your work is almost done.
Use the Jump Spell to guide the PEKKA towards the Capital Hall; she should have sufficient health to reach it. Meanwhile, deploy the remaining Miners to the cluster of huts, where you can employ the Heal Spell to safeguard them from the unending onslaught of the Capital Hall. If you need to accelerate things, don’t hesitate to use the Haste Spell strategically, the preference being the Mega Sparky.
With this approach, securing a three-star attack is easy, and thus you get your rewards too!
