Clash of Clans: How to beat the Color Fest Painter Champion Challenge

Easily three star the Champion Challenge!

Clash of Clans is known for providing interesting challenges to its players for maintaining their interest in facing new challenges. Once again, with the latest March 2023 Color Fest season, many more challenges are all set to arrive. After the Painter Warden challenge, the next one to arrive this week is the Painter Champion, which will be the last from the Clash of Clans Painter season. Of course, many players would love to break it down and get those sweet rewards in Clash of Clans. Do not worry, as we have come up with strategies to crack down on this challenge with ease.

Introducing the Painter Champion Challenge in Clash of Clans

This challenge draws similarities to the Warden one, with the base being a Town Hall 15 but having low-level walls surrounding it. The troop combination is the good ol’ Dragon and Loons, and the Champion is the only hero available in this attack strategy. The maxed-out Air Defenses are certainly a scare, but they might not pose a threat if we beat this with a simple and effective strategy.

Once again, the rewards aren’t very appealing and similar to all the previous painter hero challenges, but when we consider the loot, it is all good. Along with the extra resources that are provided, players can gain 400 XP, 20 Gems, and a Builder Potion.

How to beat the Painter Champion Challenge in Clash of Clans

To start things off, be vary of the four Air Defenses placed together. So, to ease things off, we need to take out the two air defenses on the top right side of the base, and then work over with the other side of the base. So, to do this, deploy three Loons each to the two Air Defense buildings, close to the walls of the base, and take them out.

Next up, you can pick any side of the Inferno and Air Defences to take them out. Using the Rocket Balloons, take another Air Defense out. Do not worry about the Inferno tower being not destroyed. On the opposite side, deploy the Champion and clean out the Inferno tower and Air Defense, and thus, all the Air Defenses are cleared.

Now the focus is on Scattershot and the Town Hall. Using the Champion ability and the Headhunters, the defending Champion is taken out, and approaching the Scattershot in the core of the base, use your Lightening and Earthquake spells in that area to inflict damage. The Clan Castle troops will be triggered, and then you can deploy your Dragons and one remaining balloon.

Freeze the area where the Eagle Artillery, Xbow, and Inferno Tower are placed, which can be done by dropping the Freeze Spell at the center of the area. Rage your dragons near the town hall, and freeze the other Scattershot. Drop your Skeleton Spell on the single inferno, and the remaining spells at any other point in time for a perfect three-star.

One more fun base challenge, a little more competitive than the previous one with a tricky strategy in place. On a serious note, this won’t work if you do not plan the attack in advance, just like the trick bases the makers or creators used to design. Just follow the simple steps mentioned in this article, and get those sweet rewards!
