Clash of Clans: How to beat the Dark Ages Queen Challenge

Tricky but fun!

Clash of Clans following the current Dark Ages season has come up with another interesting base to 3-star with the Dark Ages Queen Challenge. Of course, many gamers would love to break it down and earn those satisfying Clash of Clans awards. Do not be concerned; we have devised strategies to effectively beat this base.

Introducing the Dark Ages Queen Challenge in Clash of Clans

This challenge draws similarities to the previous Dark Ages Warden Challenge, with the base being a Town Hall 15, but this time, we can clearly see that the difficulty level has increased to a certain extent. The Monoliths are a good scare for those who haven’t reached the ultimate Town Hall, but there is always a solution, even for those multiple heroes guarding.

Once again, the rewards aren’t very appealing and the rewarding pattern is similar to all the previous challenges, but when we consider the loot, it is all good. Along with the extra resources that are provided, players can gain 400 XP, 25 Gems, and a Training Potion.

When you check the troop combination, you see that there is significant support for both air and ground combinations. So, you can use your Warden either for air or ground. But fully utilized Inferno Dragons deal great damage to the troops, so switch the Warden to air.

Monoliths need to be taken down as the earliest. For this, a trap of skeleton spell and Inferno Dragon is the best. Since there are no air traps, fearlessly use four Inferno Dragons, one for each monolith. Deploy the Skeleton Spell beforehand, so that they are distracted, and the dragons take them down.

However, you cannot continue further with the same technique since you only have 5 skeleton spells in total. Save one for later and quickly deploy the Queen and Healers behind for the Queen Walk. Break a compartment with a Super Wall Breaker, and then rage the queen when she is closer to the opponent heroes while taking damage.

There are two more sides where the monoliths are still not taken down. So, use the Balloons and remaining inferno dragons on one side, dropping Warden behind them. When the Scattershot is locked, use the Warden’s ability to push the Ballons without damage and take down the defenses.

On the other side, when the Clan Castle Barbarians are triggered out of the base, use the Poison spell. Once taken care of these, deploy the Barbarian King and the Royal Champion along with the Headhunters, and break them in. Use the King’s ability to take down the Archer Tower and X-Bow cluster, so that the Champion reaches the Monoliths early, and then take them down using her ability.

The next steps are just for cleaning, using the rage spell and skeleton spell to trick the defenses into switching targets while raging the Queen at the right places. The Queen will clear out the rest of the base without any difficulty, supported by the remaining troops.

Another enjoyable base challenge, this time a little more competitive and with a challenging strategy in place. On a serious note, this will not work unless you organize your attack ahead of time, just like the trick bases the manufacturers or inventors used to design. Simply follow the easy steps outlined in this article to get the benefits!
