The Chinese and global versions share the same core gameplay experience, but there are a few notable differences. Some cosmetic items, such as the Pirate flag, have been removed, and certain spells and league visuals are represented differently.
Additionally, there’s heavier censorship applied to skins and card artwork in the Chinese version. That said, there’s still plenty of excitement among fans who are curious to try the game and see what truly feels different from the global version. Currently, the option to download is available for the Android platform as an installable .apk file.
How to download the Clash of Clans Chinese version for Android (APK)
Here are the steps to download the game on Android.
- The game can be downloaded via the Haoyou Kuaidao app store. However, if you’re using the download link, you’ll need the App Client to install Clash of Clans. You can get the client from the link next to the Haoyou Kuaidao logo.
- Head to the Haoyou Kuaidao app store to get the Chinese Version of the game and search for Clash of Clans. You can check the store page here.
- On the store page, you can see the Download option. Click on it.
- If you’re using the website, a QR code will appear. You’ll need to scan it using the client app to download the game, after which the download will begin automatically.
- Install the game, and you’ll be prompted with an option to link or bind your account, which you can do using your QQ or WeChat account.
