Clash Royale Chess Royale Challenge best decks guide

Time for a game of chess!

The second challenge of the Season 51 update is now live, which is somewhat like a game of chess being played, but in Clash Royale flavor. This challenge is part of the Chess Clash collaboration with Chess.com, and it is a fun element to play as it brings something unique to the table as well. So, without further adieu, let’s now explore some of the top decks that you can utilize for the Chess Royale Challenge in Clash Royale.

Best Decks for Chess Royale Challenge

In this challenge, you will find a weird chessboard arrangement, with the Recruits covering the front side like pawns/soldiers on a chessboard. They protect the towers in the center, where you will also have Prince spams happening on both sides, making it an interesting setup.

So, here are our top three deck picks considering the event.

1. Bats, Fireball, Giant Skeleton, Lumberjack, Baby Dragon, Flying Machine, Skeleton Army, Clone

Average Elixir Cost: 3.8

We have this first deck that centers around the Giant Skeleton as a tank, supported by air units like Baby Dragon and Flying Machine. Lumberjack and Skeleton Army provide ground defense and counter-push potential while serving as a great distraction for the pushing Princes.

Fireball is a versatile spell for clearing swarms and dealing with enemy troops, while Clone can create chaos by duplicating your damage with the Giant Skeleton and the stronger push potential.

2. Minions, Prince, Rage, Goblin Hut, Skeleton Army, Poison, Tombstone, Electro Dragon

Average Elixir Cost: 3.6

More the Prince, more fun is the motto behind this deck as you will have this deck being built around control and counterplay. Goblin Hut and Tombstone provide defensive structures while slowly chipping away at the opponent’s health and serving effective distractions.
