Cookie Run: Kingdom Werewolf Cookie Guide: How to unlock, Best Toppings, and more

Tips to use Werewolf Cookie efficiently!

Werewolf Cookie is a Charge Cookie that was first introduced in the launch of Cookie Run: Kingdom in Version 1.0 and has been playable ever since. Werewolf Cookie isolates himself from other Cookies in fear of his wolf instinct kicking in and lashing out. This guide will be helping you on how to build Werewolf Cookie, how to obtain him, and the ways to level him up.

Werewolf Cookie is an Epic Cookie and hence can be obtained through the Gacha. There are many ways to obtain Werewolf Cookie’s Soulstones, such as:

  • Mileage Shop: Available in the Gacha section and bought through Mileage Points from pulling Cookies.
  • Kingdom Arena Medal Shop: Available exclusively through the Kingdom Arena. Players have to participate in PvP battles and ultimately win to obtain the Medals of Victory currency to exchange with the Soulstones. In every Shop reset which lasts for 3 days, there are 2x Epic Cookie Soulstones purchases in stock where each purchase will give you 2x Soulstones. A total of 4x Soulstones can be collected in total.

  • Guild Medal Shop: Available exclusively by joining a Guild. Players have to participate in Guild Battles to obtain the Heroic Medal currency to exchange with the Soulstones. Just like the Kingdom Arena, players can get 2 Soulstones for each purchase, where there are 2 purchases in stock. This means a total of 4 Soulstones can be obtained in every Shop Reset lasting 3 days.
  • Rainbow Shell Gallery: Located inside Touc’s Trade Harbor after you upgrade it. The soulstones can only be exchanged with the Rainbow Pearls currency which can be obtained by shipping various goods through the Ship Harbor. You can obtain 5 Soulstone Cookies. The Shop resets every 2 Days so players have to keep a lookout on which Soulstone Cookies comes out every rotation.
  • World Exploration: Complete World Exploration Dark Mode Stages 4-20 and 08-21 to obtain his Soulstones. You can only farm each stage 3 times every reset day.

Character Introduction

Together with a great amount of pepper, a wolf’s hair had fallen into the cookie dough by accident. Now, whenever Werewolf Cookie feels scared or threatened, his wolf instinct kicks in to transform him into a feral beast.

A long time ago, when a friend was in great peril, Werewolf Cookie managed to save them by transforming, at a cost. With his true nature revealed to the whole town, he was cast away out of fear and has been living alone in the forests since. With so much pain inside, this Cookie tastes bitter and salty (of tears). Don’t ask about his scar or try to get close, as he will only push you away.

Costume Sets

Werewolf Cookie has 1 Costume that can be obtained through the Costume Gacha.

The Magic Candy is only given to certain Cookies that have long been power-crept due to the ever-changing META of the game to make them more viable to use in especially PvP-focused battles.

Werewolf Cookie has an assortment of Toppings to choose from depending on what you prefer in his build. 2 viable Toppings can be equipped on Werewolf Cookie: Searing Raspberry Toppings and Solid Almond Toppings. Note that ideally, the main priority of Toppings for Werewolf Cookie is Searing Raspberry Toppings.

As stated before, due to the insane buff Werewolf Cookie has received because of his Magic Candy, his best-in-slot Toppings would be Searing Raspberry, especially stacking the full 5-set to receive the bonus +5% ATK. Since Werewolf Cookie relies heavily on his regular attacks, which become more powerful and have a chance to strike twice during his wolf form, increasing his ATK enhances the damage output of each attack. This means that his regular attacks, especially those delivered during his transformation, become even more potent.

For Solid Almond Toppings, he can be equipped with a full 5-set Solid Almond to obtain the +5% DMG Resistance boost on him. This can greatly benefit Werewolf Cookie’s survivability in battles and become a tank. As a charge cookie, he may find himself amid enemy encounters, taking hits while dealing damage. With the added DMG Resist, he can endure more attacks before being defeated, giving him a better chance to unleash his powerful abilities and deal damage to enemies.

Final Thoughts

Werewolf Cookie has long been a playable Cookie character that falls painfully flat due to his underwhelming kit compared to the other Charge Cookie. Nonetheless, since the introduction of his own Magic Candy in addition to added buffs to his own personal kit and stats, Werewolf Cookie became a viable Charge Cookie to use in battles, especially in PvP modes.
