eFootball 2026 always brings new packs, new hype, and the constant chase for endgame cards. This time, the spotlight falls on the Epic European Clubs Midfielders pack, featuring three legendary names: Hidetoshi Nakata, Edgar Davids, with Philip Cocu, who makes his debut in eFootball 2026.
The big question now is simple: does this trio have what it takes to shape the meta and justify the spin? Here’s my review, verdict, and tier list of the three cards.
eFootball 2026 Epic European Clubs Midfielders players
Hidetoshi Nakata
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Phenomenal Pass
Another Nakata card in the house, coming after the Epic Worldwide Special Selection Contract back in May, but this time, in a Creative Playmaker role. This again showcases the typical Nakata strengths, including high ball control, effective dribbling, tight possession, and accurate passing.
Phenomenal Pass enhances his role as a creator, especially when threading balls, while there’s also a surprising inclusion of Phenomenal Finishing. It could come in handy, but realistically, even with a decent build, his finishing doesn’t quite push past the 90 mark, and if you do, it spoils the card.
That said, the bigger issue here is timing. With Kaká currently live at the time of writing, who not only plays the same Creative Playmaker role but is also clearly the superior AMF overall, this Nakata card becomes a tougher sell.
Still, taken on its own, it’s a good card. Nakata’s player ID has a strong track record, and for those who missed out on him last time, it is a solid pick now.
Edgar Davids
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Destroyer
- Showtime Skill: Low Screamer and Long Reach Tackle
Davids comes in as a Destroyer, and on paper, he looks every bit the aggressive midfield presence you’d expect. Strong defensive awareness, high aggression, and excellent stamina make him well-suited for pressing and stepping out to win the ball, and his cards have always been popular for the same reason.
Long Reach Tackle is a big plus here, and he already comes with a very high leg length, so it is definitely a big plus. Low Screamer is also included, which surely adds some threat from distance, but I felt it wasn’t a skill he needed.
He’s pretty quick, too, 90+ numbers in the pace department, and can pass decently. Aerial game with him was always a complaint among players, which is natural; a tall Anchor Man beside him can fix things. Add a few passing skills and Acrobatic Clearance.
Philip Cocu
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Anchor Man
- Showtime Skill: Fortress
Here we get the debut of Barcelona midfielder Philip Cocu. Arriving as an Anchor Man DMF, stat-wise, he offers a very balanced defensive profile. He’s not giving me that endgame feel, but he looks solid across the board, with good defensive awareness, physical contact, and stamina.
One thing that stands out is his body type and leg length, which should help him make clean interceptions and tackles without needing to overcommit. Passing looks safe too, of course, you can tweak it if you need your Anchor Man to build up play better.
The main question is how dominant he’ll feel in live gameplay. While the stats suggest a reliable anchor, having a defensive Showtime skill, such as Long Reach Tackle or Aerial Fort, could have elevated him further.
Best pick from the Epic European Clubs Midfielders pack in eFootball 2026
Going by this pack, I’ll say this is a solid midfield on offer, with a double pivot and a creative midfielder. However, is this a pack I would spend my coins on? Nope is the answer. All three are solid picks, but there is no endgame pick here, and I would suggest waiting for it.
