The flow of Epic packs in eFootball 2026 doesn’t seem to slow down, and this time, KONAMI has turned its spotlight toward Old Trafford with the Epic Manchester United pack. Lately, there’s been a good mix of offensive and balanced packs, and this one continues that trend with a trio of players who defined an era for the Red Devils.
The lineup features Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, and Darren Fletcher, all getting different positions, skills, and playstyles. Ferdinand debuts for the first time, so surely more eyes will be on him, but the other two are amazing cards, too. Let’s take a closer look at what each of them brings to the pitch.
eFootball 2026 Epic Manchester United Players
Rio Ferdinand
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
- Show Time Skill: Aerial Fort and Fortress
This version of Rio Ferdinand feels like the ultimate anchor for any defensive setup. Standing tall with a strong physical presence, he is built to dominate aerial battles; that height and Show Time skill are enough to explain things for you.
I pulled him in a few spins, and I can say that the card is brilliant, stepping in at the right moments to cut passing lanes and initiating build-up plays from deep. His interceptions are clean, and he rarely gets dragged out of position.

His defensive awareness and tackling instincts are elite-level, and given how many Destroyer centre-backs we’ve got now, this one feels special for sure. I did find the balance on this card is a mess, the first touches also seemingly heavy.
I have given him a 7-8-8-11 progression build with a sole point to his passing to cover his shortcomings, and I feel this is the best build you can give him. Acrobatic Clearance and Heading skills would be the skills to give him.
Wayne Rooney
- Position: SS
- Playing Style: Hole Player
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Phenomenal Pass
Rooney has now received a proper card, and boy, this card has no weakness, at least considering the stats. As a Hole Player, he naturally drifts into spaces to link up play, and this is where you take advantage of him, since he is good at multiple areas, with a different build, all his offensive stats go above 80.
With the player build he has, even with his first card, I felt dribbling was his strength. Here too, it is splendid. Phenomenal Finishing works great with his shooting stats, but Phenomenal Pass is what surprised me more, really good even in tight spaces.

The acceleration is good, not great, but he makes up for it with that natural sense of positioning and control. Yet to kind of judge his aerial game as well, but it would be decent. The closest to this card is Cruyff, but I’ll give the latter an edge on Rooney.
I used him in a few matches as a second striker, and you instantly feel his link-up play come alive. He combines really well with Deep Lying Playmakers/Target Man, especially when you need that one-touch pass before bursting into space. Auto build is good, but you can look to improve that speed if you need.
Darren Fletcher
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Destroyer
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Pass
Surely nobody will want to get this card, but both in-game and real life, he’s quite underrated. This card has been treated well by KONAMI, giving some impressive stats and a playstyle you take advantage of in both CB and DMF.

Nothing flashy in this card, just a solid midfielder who’ll do his job every single time. He presses well, wins second balls, and tracks back brilliantly. His defensive engagement is excellent, and you can sense how aggressive he gets in duels.
I would suggest giving him Heading, Fighting Spirit, and Acrobatic Clearance, as three skills, and if in case if you are fixed on using him at DMF, Through Passing would come in handy. At CB, for sure, he misses out on ST skills, but overall, a solid card.
Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Epic Manchester United Players
This Manchester United pack delivers strongly, especially the Rio and Rooney duo are starter material cards. Each card brings something different to the table, and it’s easy to see all three being usable starters depending on your playstyle.
Overall, the pack’s value really depends on your squad’s needs. Not a fan of the featured options in this, and if you are looking for a Van Dijk build with someone faster and taller, Rio is someone I suggest.
Pack Rating: 3.5 out of 5
