Tuncay Şanlı is actually a pretty solid card overall. What I liked the most about him is how flexible the build feels. You can balance the stats nicely depending on what you want from the striker. I like adjusting builds to favor dribbling a bit, so I pushed most of his on-ball stats into the high 80s, and that ended up working quite well.
On the pitch, his biggest strengths are clearly finishing, acceleration, and balance. The burst of pace when he makes runs is noticeable, and he positions himself well in the box. The awareness stat really shows during gameplay because he keeps making those smart Goal Poacher runs behind defenders.
Shooting also feels reliable, and the kicking power helps his shots feel strong even from slightly outside the box, which I credit the Willpower Show Time skill for. Dribbling felt decent but not amazing.
He didn’t feel sluggish when carrying the ball, which is good, but certain skill moves like Double Touch felt a bit slow to execute. It’s not a huge problem, but you do notice it compared to more technical forwards.
Physical duels were actually better than I expected. I didn’t invest too many points there, yet he still held up reasonably well against defenders. Link-up play was also fine, even though I wasn’t expecting much in that department.
Heading is probably the area where your build matters a lot. In my setup, I didn’t invest heavily into aerial progression, so headers weren’t very consistent. But if you allocate a few more points there, he should become much more reliable when attacking crosses.
