eFootball 2026 PFA Team of the Year 2025 Nominating Contract Review and Player Tier List

The best premier league XI!

The PFA Team of the Year 2025 Nominating Contract in eFootball 2026 brings a strong set of players with well-rounded cards. This pack features some of the biggest names across positions, who were named as the best XI of the recently concluded Premier League Season.

On paper, it looks like one of the more balanced lineups, but not every card stands out as equally valuable. Some are really good cards, while others feel more like filler picks. Let’s go through each card to see who’s really worth your nominating contract and how they rank in terms of overall gameplay impact.

Mohamed Salah

  • Position: RWF
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger

Salah’s card looks quick, and that has always been his big strength, with his pace and dribbling still being the standout traits. He can stretch defenses and make those inside cuts dangerous, but his weak foot remains an issue that holds him back.

Stamina can also be a problem in longer games, given how quickly the game drains the stamina after the new update. He feels good to use, but doesn’t offer anything drastically new compared to his other versions.

Virgil van Dijk

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Build Up

Van Dijk will still feel like a brick wall at the back; the stats point to a physically dominant and hard to beat in duels, since his player ID remains one of the best CBs. His aerial presence is excellent, but his lack of acceleration can make him unreliable at times.

Even though 80 Speed isn’t bad, he’s not as fast as modern CBs, which might expose him against pace-heavy attackers. Blame the meta. Overall, still solid but not the unstoppable version of old, nor any close to the recent Big Time version of his.

Declan Rice

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Box to Box

Another Declan Rice card here, and without much of a debate, he is a stable midfield option with great defensive awareness and stamina. Any card of his is reliable in both defending and transition play, so basically, you cannot go wrong with this pick.

He’s strong in duels, but going forward, he doesn’t add much creativity. You’ll get consistency from him, though he’s not a flashy card by any means. More of a safety-first option rather than an exciting pick.

William Saliba

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Build Up

Can totally see this card being the pick of the lot, who is an all-rounder in his role. Saliba is well-rounded with solid speed and good balance as a CB, making him useful in the current meta. He has the physical traits to compete with top attackers.

The thing with this card is that awareness is something he lacks, even though on paper it doesn’t look bad. Strong conditioning helps, though he’s more of a good long-term pick and might need time to adjust.

Gabriel Magalhães

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Destroyer

A strong Destroyer, left-footed CB option here. Gabriel plays like an aggressive stopper, good at stepping up and breaking down attacks. His strength and tackling are dependable, though his positioning can feel shaky against quicker forwards.

His heading game is absolutely top-tier, almost wins all aerial duels. Again, the Van Dijk problem, speed and acceleration aren’t his strengths. He works fine as a partner to a faster CB but doesn’t stand out as a top choice.

Alexis Mac Allister

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator

Mac Allister offers neat passing and control in midfield, making him decent for possession play. He’s good in tight areas with his dribbling, but lacks the defensive bite or explosive playmaking to really stand out. His stamina is fine, but he doesn’t excel in any particular attribute.

Other picks are as follows:

  • Alexander Isak (CF/Goal Poacher): A good F2P poacher option, but the numbers aren’t really appealing. His movement is good, and he can finish well, but he doesn’t dominate physically despite his frame. Also, his aerial game is just decent.
  • Ryan Gravenberch (DMF/Anchor Man): Gravenberch has height and mobility, making him useful for breaking up play while carrying the ball forward. His defensive numbers for the position are pretty good. However, he still feels a little toned down, with almost zero aerial presence.

  • Milos Kerkez (LB/Offensive Wingback): Kerkez has speed, which makes him good for overlapping runs on the left. He’s active in attack, can be a good crosser, but defensively, he can be caught out of position. His physicality is average, misses out on a few important skills, too.
  • Chris Wood (CF/Target Man): Wood is all about aerial duels and physical presence, which makes him effective in crossing-heavy setups. Outside of that, his lack of pace and agility makes him predictable and easy to defend against.
  • Matz Sels (GK/Offensive Goalkeeper): Sels has decent reflexes and handling, but nothing that makes him stand out compared to stronger goalkeeper options already available.

eFootball 2026 PFA Team of the Year 2025 pack – Players Ranked

Here’s my ranking of the players on the overview of numbers, experience of play, and the current meta.

TierPlayers
SSS (Endgame)None
SS (Excellent)None
S (Strong)Mohamed Salah, William Saliba
A (Good)Gabriel Magalhães, Alexis Mac Allister,
Declan Rice, Alexander Isak, Virgil van Dijk
B (Average)Ryan Gravenberch, Milos Kerkez,
Chris Wood, Matz Sels
C (Below Average)None

We get two draws here, a Chance Deal and a Nominating Contract. In my opinion, there is no card here that is a standout, but yes, for F2P, some decent picks for sure. I got Salah and Saliba as my picks, and both are stellar performers. Going by numbers and player ID, a few here are really good options you can choose from.
