Show Time packs have been increasing in eFootball 2026, and we have the Anticipated Standouts pack this time. This gets three strong defensive options with Show Time skills: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Alexander Isak, and Matheus Cunha being the featured cards.
The Anticipated Standouts pack is a mixed bag, three players who on paper cover key roles: a big keeper, a target striker, and a creative attacker. None of them screams meta-must-have, but I’ll break them down and rank them.
eFootball 2026 Show Time Anticipated Standouts Players
Alexander Isak
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Show Time Skills: Momentum Dribbling and Bullet Header
Surely a striker made for counters and quick transitions. Isak‘s combination of height and speed makes him the typical poacher who punishes space behind a high defensive line. Momentum Dribbling helps him carry the ball through turns and into shooting range, which also helps his dribbling numbers.
Bullet Header is also a good addition, although heading isn’t his strongest aspect; he has the height, so maybe get the jump above 80, and then it might be a balanced build. Speed and acceleration, no complaints, that player ID might slow him a little still.
If you rely on hold-up play, he can do it, but his best trait is getting into scoring positions off movement; pair him with a creative AMF or speedy winger who can feed those through passes. Don’t forget to give him Long Range Shooting.
Gianluigi Donnarumma
- Position: GK
- Playing Style: Offensive Goalkeeper
- Show Time Skills: None
A bit odd to see an Offensive GK without any Show Time skills, given that both Dida and Allison have received GK Directing Defense in their recent cards. But that still doesn’t shy away from the fact that Donnarumma still plays like a top-tier sweeper-keeper.
He’s the kind of goalkeeper who will come off his line to close down one-on-ones and sweep up through balls when your defensive line pushes high. His reliability comes from solid core stats, and with a proper build, all numbers go above 95.
The best strength of this card is undoubtedly the reach it offers. He’s best used in systems that press and keep a higher defensive line, as he’ll reduce vulnerability to long through balls from the opponents and counter runs.
Matthaus Cunha
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Show Time Skills: Blitz Curler and Acceleration Burst
Cunha is the flexible spark you slot into tight attacking spaces. Acceleration Burst is an obvious fit; he has good numbers in dribbling, and with the ST skill, you can get his pace numbers pumped up, and then you have a solid working skill.
So, what are his best traits? I see the answer in the ST skills; both Blitz Curler and Acceleration Burst are strong skills, and to make use of them, you need the numbers, and this card can provide that. The skill set he has would also be a waste if he only got a creative role.
Try an SS/AMF hybrid here, have him play at SS, which helps you to stay closer to the goal, and then shoot. If you want him to create, you can amp up the passing numbers while toning down finishing. Overall, a good card which definitely is a surprise.
Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Show Time Anticipated Standouts players
I’m not a fan of Show Time cards unless they are top-tier endgame picks. This pack isn’t that simple as that. For sure, we get two dependable attackers and a safe keeper, but nothing that will instantly redefine your squad, especially during a time when Epic cards run riot.
