FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS Players

Yannick Carrasco (LM)

  • Overall: 94
  • Requirement: 28000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Long Shots

Overview

Atletico Madrid came into the 2021/22 season on a high, having won the La Liga prior. Although they couldn’t quite match that feat, they were still a tough team to play against and managed to secure a 3rd place finish. Carrasco featured as one of Atletico’s key players, making 33 appearances in the league, and contributing 6 goals and 6 assists.

VSA

Carrasco impresses in all areas for VSA. His shots are powerful and accurate, even at distances. On the ball, he feels smooth, and his skill moves are quick enough to stun defenders. Carrasco’s weak foot is not always fully reliable, despite the 4* weak foot. However, it does the job in most cases and makes this card very well-rounded for this mode.

H2H

In H2H, it’s a similar story for the 28-year-old’s FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS card. Carrasco is solid in almost all aspects of the attack, and he even tracks back in defense a bit as well. This card is more like a goal-focused, ball-carrying winger, rather than a playmaker. Because of that, he’ll be running quite a bit, so his slight shortage of stamina will come into play. Other than that, this is a very good solution to the LM/LW position.

Conor Coady (CB)

FIFARenderZ Coady
  • Overall: 94
  • Requirement: 28000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Tackling

Overview

Wolves played well for a large part of the season and we’re a tough team to break down for even the most powerful of attacks. They managed to keep 11 clean sheets all season – a tally only 5 teams could top. A key pillar that held the defense up was Conor Coady. He brought invaluable leadership to the team and topped the season off with 4 goals as well.

VSA

Compared to most other popular cards in that position, Coady is easier to stun with skill moves. On top of that, he’s slow to turn and recover as well. Usually, the common center-backs in the game look big and heavy, which brings that intimidation factor. Coady doesn’t have that kind of build either, so all in all, he’s not really that much of an obstacle for attackers in this mode.

FM Stats Coady FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS

H2H

This card’s better side comes out better in H2H than VSA, that’s for sure. Since he lacks mobility, Coady is ideally placed in the middle of a back three. If in a 2-CB pairing, having a defensive full-back beside Coady may prove useful. Tackling-wise, he does a good job, but his best attributes are probably in his ball-playing abilities. For those that like to play out from the back, Coady is a good player to have, because of his accuracy and impressive passing range.

Gerard Moreno (ST)

FIFARenderZ Gerard Moreno
  • Overall: 95
  • Requirement: 42000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Shooting

Overview

Villareal made a surprise charge forward in the UEFA Champions League, making it as far as the semi-final, before just missing out at the hands of Liverpool. Gerard Moreno played an important role here, providing 2 goals and 4 assists in just 6 starts in the UCL. He also added a further 9 goals and 3 assists in just 14 league starts, which helped Unai Emery‘s men secure Conference League football for next season.

VSA

There’s an abundance of strikers in the game at the moment, so it’s difficult for someone new to establish themselves. Although Moreno is a very solid striker, there isn’t anything he can do that any other popular striker can’t do in VSA. His finishing is very good, and he is decent on the ball as well. Moreno’s 3* skill move rating isn’t ideal, as is the 4* weak foot. Other than that, this is just your standard, reliable striker.

FM Stats Moreno FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS

H2H

It’s pretty much the same case for H2H, as it is in VSA. Even though his mobility is decent enough, Moreno doesn’t feel that fast, which may be an issue for those that like to run in behind their strikers. Also, his passing turned out to be surprisingly good as well. The through-balls into wingers were nicely weighted, and this can be very useful to certain playstyles. All in all, this is a decent striker card – maybe not special enough to justify the price tag, but still not bad.

Fred (CDM)

  • Overall: 95
  • Requirement: 42000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Vision

Overview

Manchester United had a season to forget, after finishing below expectations in the Premier League. On the other hand, Fred will have an individual season to remember. The Brazilian midfielder scored 4 goals and registered another 4 assists, setting a personal record for the most league goal contributions in a season.

VSA

Fred will likely pop in in some attacking chances, but that’s not an issue since he does feel very smooth on the ball. Other than that, there isn’t much else to say for this mode.

FM Stats Fred FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS
Image via Electronic Arts

H2H

For those that like to play with 2 CDMs, this card is definitely worth looking at. Fred would be the more mobile, box-to-box midfielder. In addition to his movement, he has a great passing range and is actually quite pacy as well. Fred makes regular runs forward and into the box, so ideally, his CDM partner should be a more defensive one. Also because for this reason, playing Fred as a lone-6 is definitely not recommended; he lacks strength and would quickly get overrun.

Wilfried Zaha (LW)

  • Overall: 96
  • Requirement: 67000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Agility

Overview

Zaha‘s 13-goal tally has him the top scorer at Crystal Palace, and what’s more, this has been his best season in the Premier League numbers-wise. The winger has established himself as a regular in Vieira’s side and will be hoping to continue breaking records in the future.

VSA

As expected from the stats, this card is very quick and fluid and has one killer shot. The only issue is very glaring – the 3* weak foot. Especially in VSA, this has proved to be a deciding factor. The poor left foot limits Zaha’s angles, and whilst he might score with it sometimes, it definitely isn’t reliable, and it does feel frustrating at times as well. If that hasn’t proved to be an issue for you, then this would be a great LW card.

FM Stats Zaha FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS

H2H

Having a good weak foot adds that unpredictability to a winger’s game. That is another limiting factor to Zaha’s performance. However, those that like to play fast during the break will find this card’s pace very useful. Whilst being quick to turn, Zaha also turned out to be quite tough to dispossess, due to his strength and balance over the ball. Because of his playstyle, Zaha will probably be running quite a bit, and since his stamina isn’t great, it’s a good idea to have a substitute ready.

Jean-Clair Todibo (CB)

  • Overall: 96
  • Requirement: 67000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Strength

Overview

After a series of loan moves to various European clubs, Todibo finally found his place after making his move from Barcelona to OGC Nice a permanent one. Bought at a fee of around 7 million, the 25-year-old certainly made an impact, and when to keep 14 clean sheets with his new club – the joint-highest number in Ligue 1.

VSA

Instantly, Todibo sets the impression of a CB that is really tough to play against. It’s difficult getting past him anyway, and on the occasion you do, he recovers quite quickly. He’s as hard as a rock, yet still very fast for a defender. In all aspects, Todibo looked very impressive and belongs to that elite CB category.

FM Stats Todibo FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS
Image via Electronic Arts

H2H

Again, everything you’d want from a CB, Todibo seems to have it. He is quick, strong, has solid technique, has a decent passing range, and has an aerial presence. Because of that, he has the ingredients to excel in any kind of defensive set-up as well. Overall – a very fine card.

Hugo Lloris (GK)

  • Overall: 97
  • Requirement: 111000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Reflexes

Overview

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Lloris’ time with Tottenham. Even after a decade worth of football, the Frenchman is still a regular for the North London club, and this season, he matched his career-high with 15 clean sheets. Only 3 other Premier League clubs have bettered that total.

VSA

Goalkeepers this season have been weird, in that they haven’t made as much of a difference to the defense in-game. A well-powered shot will probably be a goal, regardless of whether the keeper was worth 100 million or 1 million. FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS Lloris is along those lines. He is better than the average keeper, and he’s the initiative to rush out towards the attacker, which is a plus.

His height is a slight issue though, and it limits his ability against long-range shots. At the end of the day, he is a very expensive card and the difference in quality between TOTS Lloris and any other mid-priced goalkeeper is negligible.

FM Stats Lloris FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS
Image via Electronic Arts

H2H

Usually, the difference-maker for keepers in H2H is their distribution. Accurate long-range passes and through balls are useful ways to get the ball into the opposition third quickly, or start counter-attacks. Lloris isn’t special in that sense, so essentially, he’s just a standard GK with some pros and some cons. Perhaps you’d expect more from a card so expensive.

Dani Parejo (CM)

  • Overall: 97
  • Requirement: 111000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Vision

Overview

Parejo was another key player in Villareal‘s unexpected charge towards the UEFA Champions League Final. Although just missing out in the Semis, they certainly had a memorable run, and Parejo was impressed both on the European stage and domestically too. He was the gears behind the attack, tallying 12 assists in all competitions.

VSA

This card seemed incomplete for VSA. It did have a pretty good shot, and its passing ability came in handy for certain chances. However, Parejo felt slow to turn and lacked the speed to carry the ball forward. In most cases, the best option was to release the ball from Parejo as soon as possible, since he often damaged the flow of chances in VSA.

FM Stats Parejo FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS
Image via Electronic Arts

H2H

Parejo plays better in H2H than in VSA but is probably not good enough to justify such a price tag. Again, it’s the lack of mobility that brings this card down. He doesn’t feel satisfying as such with the ball, which damages the flow of the attack and just generally slows the team down. To be fair, this card has some of the best passing accuracies in the game, both short and long-range.

His through balls are very nicely weighted and sometimes open up chances that didn’t even seem possible. That could be something worth building around, and the ideal situation would be to have Parejo surrounded by players with better movement, such as in a midfield trio for example.

Luis Suárez (ST)

  • Overall: 98
  • Requirement: 163000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Second Striker

Overview

Suarez enjoyed his last moments with Atletico Madrid recently, having announced that this would be his last season for the Spanish outlet. He made 34 appearances under Simeone, netting 11 times and assisting a further 2 as well.

VSA and H2H Gameplay

This card resembles the classic, chunky and powerful striker that can seemingly score from anywhere in the final third. Suarez’s shot power is genuinely breathtaking and his ball control turned out to be pretty impressive as well.

FM Stats Suarez FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS
Image via Electronic Arts

As expected, his low pace is evident in-game, and the 4* weak foot limits his angles in VSA, but other than that, this is a very good card. Although not that tall, he still manages to have a dominant aerial presence, making this close to perfect for that target man role.

Aymeric Laporte (CB)

  • Overall: 98
  • Requirement: 163000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Defending

Overview

Laporte made 32 league appearances for Manchester City this season. The 2 seasons prior, the Spaniard managed to play less than half of the season, due to injury. Fortunately, he looks fit now and contributing well to the City defense, which kept 21 clean sheets this season.

VSA and H2H Gameplay

FM Stats Laporte FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS
Image via Electronic Arts

Laporte is definitely a really tough center-back to get past. The stats really speak for themselves. Apart from a slight shortage in speed, Laporte has all the ingredients to be that really annoying defender in VSA. His passing is also decent too, especially at range. For those that like to play out from the back in H2H, having a left-footed player’s passing angles can be useful, and Laporte offers just that.

Serge Gnabry (RM)

  • Overall: 98
  • Requirement: 173000 TOTS Community Points
  • Skill Boost: Dribbling

Overview

Bayern Munich won their 10th league title in a row, setting a new record in Europe’s top 5 leagues. They had elite performers everywhere on the pitch, though only 2 players managed to score double-digits. Aside from Robert Lewandowski, it was Serge Gnabry, who fired 14 goals, and notched another 5 assists in the league.

VSA and H2H Gameplay

FIFA Mobile 22 Community TOTS

Everything from pace to dribbling to finishing, Gnabry excels in it all. The only put-off from paying such a high price is that 4* left foot, which isn’t ideal for a right-sided player. Other than that, this is very good, and you could probably come to that conclusion quite easily, just by looking at those numbers!
