Fortnite is an ever-changing landscape and the developers continuously shake things up to keep the game entertaining. The weapons in Fortnite are vaulted and unvaulted all the time. A weapon being vaulted means it’s taken out of the game but sometimes these weapons make comebacks with an upgraded version or sometimes just in the original version. Guided Missile Launcher is an example of a weapon that was vaulted but later made its comeback in the battle royale. Now, the popular Hunting rifle has made its way back to the game. Epic Games regularly upgrades its loot box with new guns or older ones with or without upgraded skins. Recently, three major items were unvaulted: Air Strikes, Flint-Knock pistols, and the Hunting Rifle.
Where to find the Hunting Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2
The Hunting Rifle has entered the loot pool. Players can obtain it just like every other weapon from Chests, Supply Drops, Floor Loot, Supply Llamas, and the loot of eliminated players. Well not sure, if you can get it from the loot of an eliminated player unless you are really lucky. Though the common hunting rifles cannot be found, every other rarity is available.
These rifles can be found in chests, and chests cab be found all over the map. The more chests the players look into, the more likely it is for them to find a hunting rifle. Just looking for chests isn’t going to be enough, the players need to keep an open eye on their enemies because everyone would be looking up for the rare weapon.
Current Chest Spawn locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2
Even though Popular POIs have a lot of chests, they are a place of heavy risk. You should rather look for the weapons in the landmark which are less popular. The stats of the Hunting Rifles are as follows:
- DPS: 70.4
- Damage: 88
- Fire Rate: 0.8
- Magazine Size: 1
- Reload Time: 1.6
The Weather Station has a lot of chests, so it has more risk. The Island of Windbreakers is a good place to look out for chests.
