Clash of Clans World Championship 2026 is back with a million dollar prize pool

The glory awaits!

Clash of Clans has finally stepped into its 2026 esports year. After the successful completion of the 2025 event, the Clash of Clans World Championship 2026 was announced a while ago, with a million-dollar prize pool for the teams.

The championship will be based on glory, and top teams will fight for glory, rights, and a piece of the million-dollar prize pool. According to Supercell’s announcement, this time, it will be based on Town Hall 18.

Clash of Clans World Championship 2026: Schedule and Format

Scheduled to kick off on the 29th of May 2026, the monthly finals will start the competition to secure seats for the ultimate battle. This year’s event will be based on 4x Monthly Qualifiers, 1x Last Chance Qualifier, 1x China Regional Qualifier, and World Championship Finals.

The monthly qualifiers begin with the ladder stage, where a fast-paced 5v5 showdown is played exclusively on Town Hall 18. Each team will compete in 20 matches to be in the list of the top 128 teams, which will advance to the next stage.

Then the Monthly Qualifier Bracket will take place in a structured Double Elimination format. The teams will go head-to-head to survive the stage, and only the top eight will remain to secure their spots in the next phase.

The Monthly Finals will come next, and the remaining teams will compete with each other in a double-elimination bracket. When the dust settles, the only remaining team will grab a ticket to the World Championship Finals.

There will be a separate competitive bracket for China, concluding with the China regional final. Slots allocation for the region isn’t disclosed yet.

Teams that failed to reach the top 128 positions during the Monthly Qualifier will also have their separate leaderboard points. After the end of the four qualifiers, the top 8 highest ranked teams that have not yet secured a Golden Ticket advance to the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). To secure the final three spots in the world championship, these teams will go hard at each other in the LCQ, followed by double-elimination matches.

At the peak of its esports activities lies the World Finals. Teams from all over the world will join to throw everything they have and set a strategy in the previous year. Eight elite teams from the four Monthly Qualifiers, Last Chance Qualifiers, and the China Qualifier will battle it out in an 8-team Double Elimination bracket, where adaptability, preparation, and composure under pressure define the path forward. The last team standing will be the winner of the finals to claim the title of 2026 World Champion.
