Supercell’s Clash of Clans has brought in yet another update this April 2026, which is titled the “Sound of Clash”. There are plenty of new arrivals part of the latest update that went live on April 27, 2026, including a new Siege Machine, Town Hall Guardian, and more. So, here’s everything you need to know about what has arrived.
Clash of Clans April 2026 update explained
New Siege Machine: Sky Wagon
The Sky Wagon is a new air-based Siege Machine, similar in concept to the Troop Launcher but designed specifically to support air and hybrid attacks. It moves independently across the base, targeting the nearest building rather than following your army.

Instead of directly dealing damage, it deploys barrels over time, each releasing a mix of air troops along with Clan Castle reinforcements. It deploys slower than the Troop Launcher (roughly every 8 seconds), but provides support throughout the attack.
| Level | Barrels | Minions | Balloon | Baby Dragon |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5 | 3 (Lv11) | 1 (Lv10) | 1 (Lv9) |
| 2 | 5 | 4 (Lv12) | 1 (Lv11) | 1 (Lv10) |
| 3 | 6 | 5 (Lv13) | 1 (Lv12) | 1 (Lv11) |
| 4 | 6 | 5 (Lv14) | 1 (Lv13) | 1 (Lv12) |
New Town Hall Guardian: The Logger
The Logger is a new ranged Town Hall Guardian designed to control large areas of the battlefield. It fires slow-moving, piercing projectiles that hit everything in their path. Unlike existing Guardians, it can target both ground and air units while also applying a 1-tile knockback on impact.

It has a base attack range of 7 tiles, which increases at higher levels, and its projectiles continue traveling beyond the initial hit, giving it a very large effective range. At max level, the Logger reaches around 12,000 HP and 350 DPS.
Dragon Duke Equipment
Electro Fangs is a new Common Equipment for the Dragon Duke, introducing a passive chain-damage ability similar to Electro Dragons. Each attack can chain across multiple targets, with damage reducing by 20% on each jump.

The equipment starts by hitting a single target but gradually increases the number of chains as it levels up. At maximum level, it can hit up to four targets and deal up to 400 damage per strike, along with providing a significant HP boost to the hero.
| Level Milestone | Targets Hit |
|---|---|
| Base | 1 target |
| Level 3 | 2 targets |
| Level 9 | 3 targets |
| Level 15 | 4 targets |
Ranked Mode changes
So what’s officially confirmed is the Ranked Mode overhaul this April 2026, continuing the adjustments that began earlier this year. After addressing progression issues and player burnout back in January, this update builds further on those changes.

The split of Legend League into three tiers is a major change: Legend I, Legend II, and Legend III. This helps balance matchmaking and separates you based on skill level rather than keeping everyone in one crowded tier. Rewards remain the same, so you’re not missing out on loot, but the climb now feels more structured.
Outside of Legend League, the overall experience is being made easier to manage. Higher leagues now require fewer battles, and inactivity penalties are much more forgiving. You can stay inactive for up to four weeks without dropping, and even after that, demotions happen gradually.
Battle Modifiers
Another important change comes to Legend League modifiers, with Electro League modifiers being removed and rebalanced into the new Legend tiers.
| Modifier | Legend III | Legend II | Legend I | Esports |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Defending Buildings DPS | +10% | +15% | +20% | +25% |
| Defending Heroes HP/DPS | +10% | +15% | +20% | +25% |
| Guardians HP/DPS | +5% | +10% | +20% | +20% |
| Attacking Heroes HP/DPS | -5% | -10% | -20% | -20% |
| Common Equipment Modifier | — | — | — | -3 |
| Epic Equipment Modifier | — | — | — | -6 |
