Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: Vaults locations and how to find them

The guide contains all Vaults locations in the game!

Vaults in Fortnite are like loot boxes. These are the easiest way to gather ammo, shield, bombs, and all other items required to enhance individual health and weapons. Loot boxes allow players easier access to items but it isn’t easy to collect these items without a fight. There’s a great competition among sweaty players to gather the best of armors and weapons. In our Fortnite guide, we’ll tell you the locations of Vaults and how to find them.

Vaults in Fortnite

Fortnite first introduced Vaults during Chapter 2 Season 2. However, the way they work now is entirely different from how they worked back then. Earlier the protocols were such that the player had to defeat a boss in the particular area where the vault was, and then collect the dropped card. Players would use this card to open the door of the vault. Now the system is changed and looks much more like a power play rather than an actual battle. There’s no such thing as a key to the vault, it’s just teammates, NPCs, or chicken now.

There are a total number of 8 vaults and each of them requires a certain number of teammates. These are present underground. These vaults are present in a location which aren’t highly contested so makes it a bit easier for teams to find these abundant loots. But then again the good and powerful teams do combat against each other. The map below shows the exact location of each of the eight vaults.

There is a requirement for a certain number of players to open the vault. A hologram is displayed on the vault which shows the number of players required to open the vault. The number of players required depends on the mode you’re playing. The number of players required to open the vault could prove to be a barrier for some individuals who don’t play in a team. Therefore, Fortnite allows the player to use NPCs or animals to substitute players.
