A recent challenge was introduced in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 which is in part four of the Vibin quest and requires the players to collect Anomaly in Logjam Lotus and Butter Bloom. Completing the challenge would grant a 7,000 XP reward to the players. Players can earn a total of 36,000 XP if they complete all week four challenges. There are two stages of the challenge to collect Anomaly.
How to collect the Anomaly in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3
Before proceeding to collect the anomalies players have to establish a device uplink. Players can do this in the north of the reality tree in the logjam lotus next to the logjam sign. Players can collect the anomalies at once or during separate matches. Once the device uplink is established, there will be two anomalies to be collected.
Anomaly locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3
There are two anomalies in the game, one in Logjam lotus and one in Butter Bloom.
1. Logjam lotus
Logjam lotus is in the northwestern portion. As mentioned above players can set the device uplink here in logjam lotus. Reaching in logjam lotus will enable the player to complete the first part of the quest plus collect one anomaly. There is a glowing shield at the base of the Reality tree, players can get the first anomaly from hereby interacting with the shield.
2. Butter Bloom
The second anomaly can be collected from the butter bloom which is on the southern portion of the map. This anomaly appears as a glowing ship wheel, and it will be near the reality tree in butter bloom. The wheel will be available slightly east of the Reality tree on a small hill. And just like the first anomaly, players need to interact and collect the anomaly.
Completing both the stages of first setting up the uplink and then collecting both the anomalies will reward the loopers with 14,000 XP. Collecting XP helps players to increase the rank of their battle pass which eventually helps them collect better cosmetics and skins.
