Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3: Tips to complete the Zero Week quests in the game

Guide on how to complete the new quests for battle pass items.

Chapter 3 Season 3 of Fortnite is finally here in fast-paced action and players are all geared up for it. With this edition comes a whole bunch of special quests called Zero Week Quests, which are basically like Week 1 quests but these are bonus challenges before Week 1 arrives later. This bundle of seven quests grants you 15,000 XP each for a total of 105,000 XP. This will help immensely when it comes to fulfilling battle pass requirements. Here is a quick guide on how to finish each of them.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3: Zero Week Quests

Here are all the zero week quests:

1. Collect a Hammer Assault Rifle and a Two-Shot Shotgun in a single match -15,000 XP

The Two-Shot Shotgun and the Hammer Assault Rifle are two new weapons in this edition of Fortnite. Just like most other loot, they will spawn over the entire map. There’s no other way except to depend on your luck and your playtime like most other loot.

2. Interact with Sunbird or Moon Hawk and Rustler in a single match – 15,000 XP

Rustler is located inside Shifty Shafts. Sunbird (A.K.A Moon Hawk. Yes, confusing. We get it) can be found in the temple northeast of The Daily Bugle. You can start by approaching either one, but ensure you speak to the other one in the same round as that is a necessity, or you’ll have to end up starting all over again. Good luck, fellow players.

3. Jump on a Wolf or Boar’s back in different matches (2) – 15,000 XP

Wolves and Boars are now ride-able in Fortnite zero week quests and you can find them all over the Map, but to easily spot them, look in and around Reality Falls.

4. Plant or Summon Reality Saplings using Reality Seeds (3) – 15,000 XP

You can find Reality Seeds as well in this same location. Found inside glowing purple bulbs at the roots of the Reality Tree, you can smash them open and gain low-gravity movement for a short while before Reality Seeds sprinkle out and drift down to the ground. Plant one of them in the surrounding dirt and come back later to the same spot to tend to your garden and watch some amazing loot blossom in front of your eyes.

5. Survive Storm Phases (10) – 15,000 XP

Surviving Storm Phases is easy enough, once you know how to deal with Storm Sickness. It is an effect that poisons you the longer you stay in a storm, which results in more intense damage, depending on how long you’ve been inside. You can find Ballers at the Rave Cave to help against the Storm, but be quick with it, as they’re a popular item and chances are you might not be able to find a single one.

6. Travel 2000 meters in a Baller – 15,000 XP

Baller vehicles are a new ride in Fortnite, looking like something an action-loving hamster would ride. They can float in water but run on batteries, so make sure to keep that in mind when you take a ride in one of these. An easier way to travel in this edition is via the Screwballer, a wild rollercoaster that spans the entire island. Attach your baller to the coaster to ride an adrenaline-filled fun journey out of the Storm.

7. Visit Groovy Grove, Reality Falls, and Rave Cave – 15,000 XP

Finally, for the final quest, you will need to visit once and explore the Groovy Grove, Reality Falls, and Rave Cave.

Final Thoughts

You can complete all the Fortnite zero week quests in one go, but do not be disheartened if you are unable to do that. Take your time with them and go at your own pace, doing one per round, and you can still make it in time for the next set of quests, i.e., Week 1.
